Boots currently have some Lexmark carts half price. I wonder if juasredford knows this hence his "fantastic offer". I think the ones in boots may be older ones, unfortunately I do not know as I would never touch a lexmark printer.

If the are half price in boots that would be excellent value
i would even consider buying them from boots as opposed to my supplier.

I have a Lexmark X6170 printer.

I bought one black No. 82 and one colour No. 83 (originals) in a bundle for £17.99 with postage and packaging of £3.95. That is a total of £21.94 for two cartridges which I think it pretty good.

My local Tesco is discontinuing some of their cartridges.My printer uses No.s 82 and 83.Bought the genuine Lexmark one's today for £6.25 for the colour(No.83)and £5.36 for the black(No.82)I did actually buy 10(5 of each)for £58.The prices of these on the pcworld site are £24.99 for the black and and £28.99 for the colour so would have been a total of £270 if bought from there:eek: They also had some epson and canon ones in the section.They were not in the printer ink section but an end of aisle that was carrying all sorts of discontinued stock.

I've always found Lexmark cartridges available on ebay at less than half shop price. Can't see it's worth agonising around for the sake of another pound or two at best.
