i have a hob top steamer and i prefer my veggies steamed as they retain more flavour than veggies boiled in a pan of water.

i steam chicken breasts and veg in mine so one meal in one bowl. when i bought a electric tefal steamer a long time ago it had a recipe book with it. and i am sure even had one for cake. never made it.

On xmas day use to use it to cook the sponge pudding we had for dessert. As saved space and hassle.

a lot of the plastic electric ones give you a rice bowl.

    yours
