Having bought a pair of varifocal lens specs in October at D&A costing £400 I had to go back in December as one of the nose grips had come off. they could`nt match the same 'POLICE' designer specs one so put in 2 cheapo ones spoiling the look of my specs and tried to charge me £4 into the not so bargain. Untill the actuall optician stepped in and said no charge after I had refused to pay it!!!!0

I have always been to my local opticians in the past, and spent around £150 pounds on my new glasses.
I saw an ad on ITV last week for a company called https://www.4seeing.co.uk offering glases for £19 upwards. Although dubious, i reckoned for twenty quid it was worth a try..
Admitadly you have got to pay an extra £2.50 for posting...
My glasses arrived yesterday and they are REALLY good!!! every bit as good as the ones i buy from my opticians shop, but about 1/5 of the price!!!!
big thumbs up i saved more than a hundred pounds... beat that!
has anyone else bought glasses on the net?0 -

I highly NOT recommend goggles4u.com
My friend and I ordered from them a while ago and we are completely disappointed .The frames we received are cheap and fragile . My pair broke in 2 hours after I received . And the prescription of my friend's pair is incorrect .
We already sent back our glasses and claiming for refund .
If you have ordered from goggles4u . GOOD LUCK !0 -

Both of my pairs, now 4 and 5 months old, are still going strong with no problems at all - wear one or other pair most days.0 -
I have problem with goggles4u too . I ordered a pair from them few monthes ago but I never wear them . The frame is too cheap and it make me dizzy . I havn't contacted them for refund because I was completely disappointed . Properly I should try other companies like optical4less or glassedirect .0
