Free Broadband with Talk Talk

Hmmm. This just confirms my thoughts on TalkTalk. I (stupidly) signed up to transfer ISP and phone provider to Talk Talk in March and do you know what, we're still waiting!

I got a phone call from one of their customer service reps and he was great, however he has clearly been let down by TalkTalk as an organisation.

They haven't communicated anything to us and today I went onto the website to track the order it appears that on 7th July they simply cancelled it. No word to us, not even an email.

I'm furious with them, particularly because they seem to be arrogant enough to think that they can advertise all sorts of great deals and get away with simply not delivering.

Stuff Talk Talk, I'm with PlusNet at the moment and, while a bit pricey, they've delivered on everything they've offered.

I have encountered many problems with Talk Talk ranging from being told lies on the phone to spending endless hours talking with their pish poor 'customer' service department in India

I was told twice by two operators that i would be getting free broadband by this July, when the bill arrived this month i phoned them to enquire why i was still being charged and they said they knew nothing about free broadband and that my exchange was still not unbundled!!

I was paying £14.99 for 2meg, this is because they refused to admit that my line was capable of receiving anything faster.......however when i got as far as requesting my MAC code they said they could increase my line to 8meg without any charge!!

Anyway, i've since moved the lot to Sky, they cant be any worse than Talk Talk!
