Thanks Curry Queen - I made the base curry sauce last night and we really enjoyed it. I just wanted to add info for anyone else making it:
    - The two of us started at around 6pm, and with a few interruptions etc, we ended up eating at 9:15.
    - 50g of garlic is around 1 head of decent-sized garlic
    - I wasn't sure of the quantity of curry sauce to use for the meal, so we used 2 x ladle fulls of currry sauce per person, then added chicken, spinach and yoghurt. I personally would use less curry sauce next time as the 2 of us found it too much on the stomach.. we worked out we'd each eaten 250g of onions and a quarter of a bulb or garlic each that way - phew!

I would love to make pasanda - any recipes for that? I think the main difference seems to be to add garam masala, ground almonds but there's to it more as well?

Thanks once again - this curry base will be my batch cooking 'treat' meal for Autumn/winter! x
