This thread is now closed. Well done to VelvetGlove for her Comping Guide thread. Please can you send me a PM with your name and address.
Please nominate your most useful/helpful Post of the Month £50 Award by replying in this thread. Remember, you're nominating, NOT voting - there is a difference!
Also, please don't lobby to win the prize - as Martin says, it's not cricket!
Please include:
A. A hyperlink to the specific thread/post - highlight the web address of the thread/post when you're viewing it from the address bar at the top of the screen and copy (press 'control' and 'c') and paste ('control' and 'v').
B. Why you think they should receive the award (no more than one paragraph please!).

I'd like to nominate VelvetGlove for the Comping Guide. I dread to think how many hours it must have taken her, but it's extremely comprehensive, & makes it easier for people new to comping to take up what can be a profitable hobby.Al Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½

For taking the time and trouble to compile a very comprehensive and helpful guide for the competition forum .:T0 -
i'd like to nominate Badger_Lady for her entertaining thread on her problems with her lodger:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=917993
this has been going on for two months so i'm not sure if it's been nominated before. i think it deserves to win for a number of reasons; her posts are very well written - witty and amusing, it contains lots of advice for dealing with how to evict a difficult lodger which will be useful for other people and also because she keeps coming back to update all us noseybeaks, which is nicer than posts asking for advice when you never hear how it goes. a lot of us will miss it when it finally gets resolved (allegedly the lodger in question is moving out tonight!).:happyhear0 -

I'd like to Curv for starting this thread about why we are thankful for MSE, its very uplifting to see what MSE has done for people, from small things like cutting back spending to radically changing peoples lives and getting them the right advice to turn around a dreadful situation. I find it amusing and moving to read the comments and I'm grateful to MSE for the changes its helped me to make in my life and the possibility that I can help other people in similar situations especially in the immediate future when many people are going to have to make changes, some small, some large.
Thank you Martin:money: , we owe you big time!!!!!!0
