It would be interesting to know how many Virgoans we have
Just because you are another sign doesn't mean you can't be a closet Virgo0 -
oh im tired! just spent the entiiiiiiiiiire day at work cleaning out all the cupboards that everyone has just flung junk in for what looks like years
...really need to do the same at my own house
But i did get a 'prize', a toiletry bag filled with new goodies (no idea what it was doing in an art cupboard)
plus it was one of my workmates last days, so i got a really lovely lunch for free! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thanks for the link to that energy site. I don't like the idea of using too much anyway, but now that it is so expensive I'm even more determinedWe're quite good generally. Especially with lights- if we're not in the room then there is no light on!
It is interesting to hear what your OHs feel about saving money. My bf is in more debt than I am, but trying to talk to him about money is very difficult. We are trying to split all our bills 50/50, and I've even made him his own SOA to help him see where all the problems appear to be. I'm glad to hear the frugal way is catching. I'd feel much better if we were trying hard together.
I'm pondering what to spend my money on this month. I was on weekly pay, and I'm a bit worried about how well I'll do trying to make it through till the end of September. This will be the first true budget test :eek:0 -
BlueFleur why not break down the money you have to last till then minus bills etc into weekly amounts if thats what you are used to?Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I'm trying to do something like that, but I'm working with less money than usual. I think it'll be a useful lesson in how much I can reduce my budget
I'm just going to try and think of it as a challenge. Positive thinking and all that.

Point of interest - Sunday, 31st August 2008 represents exactly two thirds of the way through the challenge. We will have exactly...
122 days left until the end of challenge. Sunday will be day
244 of this challenge and this is a leap year, so there are
366 days, meaning that 310808 represents exactly two thirds of year 2008.
Add the numbers across the way
1+2+2 = 5
2+4+4 = 10
3+6+6 = 15 (5+10+15 = 30) 3+0 = 3
Add the numbers down the way
1+2+3 = 6,
2+4+6 = 12
2+4+6 = 12 (6+12+12 = 30) 3+0 = 3
Add all the numbers together
1+2+2+2+4+4+3+6+6 = 30 3+0 = 3
OK, I have now completely forgotten what this was all about, but it was something to do with the importance of the number 3 :rotfl: :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Glad to see you've still retained your sense of humour Janey :rotfl:I agree with BB, make sure you're completely honest about your capabilities. I really hope you get the help you need, you deserve a break.
Nyk :rotfl: Um, the only relevance to 3 I can think of is that it's 3 frugal brithdays this weekend?
I'm a Gemini by the way.
As the forums won't be here tomorrow...
