Well I have managed a competely spend free day today! Went to Whitby with my parents and met up with my cousin and his wife there. It absolutely threw it down so we spent almost two hours in a cafe where my cousin paid, then had a quick look round shops but was raining so heavy we all ended up soaked to the skin and decided to head home. Parents bought us a KFC to bring home so lots of treats haven't cost us a penny!

The home cinema went really well last night, borrowed a DVD from a friend which cost nothing, bought pizza £2.79 and made our own chesse potato skins £1. We shared a bottle of pop 44p and had a big bag of popcorn £1.49 and marshmallows 99p. We got our pyjamas on and had a picnic on a blanket on the living room floor whilst watching the film. Great fun, low cost!

To make this even cheaper we buy popcorn kernals (currently in the whole food ailse in local Asda) and pop it ourselves at home :money:

    Hiya
I love this thread! I'm going to keep reading it to try and keep me inspired! I've manage a NSD yesterday and today but my DH went camping with our children and some other friends so i'm dreading him coming home and telling me how much he's spent. Scary! Good luck with your challenge xx

Had another good day today, got a tenner on lottery last night and a win of £12 on freebie bingo which I've added to my make £10 a day total. Used some sausages that were in the freezer, veg from the garden again and made a big yorkshire pudding for sunday dinner, needed bread and milk from shop and there was a bottle of wine on offer with my name on it but still under my spending budget.

Can I just say, how great is this site? I'm so glad I started this thread, it's like a virtual mother's meeting!!!!!!

I know it's rather early but, seeing as I'm being so organised, rather than withdraw my ebay money from paypal I've decided to use it to start my christmas shopping!!!! Just grabbed myself a few bargains, eldest son is a manic arsenal fan so got him arsenal bedding and xbox game and x-men dvd box set. Cost me a little over a tenner including postage which I don't think is bad going at all. Watching loads of other things too and going to list a load on tuesday as it's 5p listing day.

It's their school awards day on friday and I was prepared well in advance for their good work reward, eldest had an especially good year so paid a little more than usual for his reward but will be well worth it when I see his face. tickets to his first arsenal match! Priceless! It's just a friendly so cost me a fraction of a premiership game but I can't see it being a problem to him. And lucky for me his new size football shirts fit me so I can look the part too!
