Yes, the birthday has come and gone. We went out to dinner (must admit it was a cheapie!) however we had a wonderful time which was the main thing then we took him to a pub for his first pint (legal pint!). He also liked his present which was a watch that we had engraved - he just needs to have a couple of links taken out.

Iv had the worse day today of my job so far since I started! If everyday was like today I would hand in my notice!! Tenants swearing because they are not happy with deductions from bonds.. even though they have wrecked the place, they swear it was like that when they moved in! never mind the fact they signed inventory to say everything was clean and working! Landlords swearing as they not happy with tenants, contractors swearing as landlords not happy with their work..
but I got home to find...
Tesco have just given me £20 online voucher plus free delivery off next order!
They were supposed to deliver my shopping on friday, it did not turn up as computers crashed and canceled all orders. I called them friday and arranged to have it re-delivered sat. It didnt turn up! the Bint who took re-arranged delivery for the saturday did not complete my order :(
I emailed them letting them know how I felt and how dissapointed I was in them had a lovely email back today with the vouchers attached.
Before BR I probably would not have complained, I feel rather proud with myself now for doing it! and £20 reduced shopping this week... result!
    so a pint for me!
