Missed out AGAIN yesterday!!! Missed the 'promotional rate' link - ho hum, never mind....when the page came up that said "they've all gone blah blah blah...but we still have rooms at Christmas/New Year for £30 blah blah blah" I thought I'd take a look....and hey, have got the weekend after Christmas!! Fab!!
Happy Christmas to My Family!!! We'll have a fab time!
 :jAny fool can pay full price!!0 -
 I got a room, was booking happily, and then it rejected me because I don't have a credit card!!

I can't believe I didn't notice the promotional rates thing - especially as my job involves attention to detail! So I missed out for the first time since the £1 room offers started... I felt even more gutted as I had provided explicit instructions - including the html link - to some of my colleagues, who had all wanted to get that elusive £1 room. I thought I had stuffed it up for them all because of the 'promotional rates' thing. But I found out today that one of them had managed to get a £1 room and a £29 room for the next night! Clearly they pay more attention to detail than me - and I am delighted as they had wanted to stay at this hotel before but couldn't afford it normally.
We will all know about the promotional rate thing for next time... here's to 1 October... limbering my fingers once more in anticipation...0 -
Hey just wondering if anyone could help me. I have booked a £1 room, however because we're travelling down from the North East we thought we may as well stay 2 nights in London. I was going to book another cheaper hotel for the 2nd night but decided I can't be bothered dragging my luggage around London to change hotels, so do you think I could book a full price (£160 !!) room for a 2nd night and it can sort of get added onto my £1 room so we don't have to change rooms?0

:j I still can't belive it. I tried and conquered, a room for 1GBP! It started out as the thrill of the chase but when you actually succeed... I missed out on the last one and followed the advice of the experts. A big thank you to you all and congratulations to all who have been successful. Hope you enjoy your stay.:beer:0

I have £1 room on 1/Aug (Friday) which I'm unable to go due to work commitment. Please PM me if you would like to swap with me.
I can do any nights in from 18/Aug til 30/Oct, although Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are preferred.0 -
If anyone has a room for 1 or 2 October, or even last day of September, and they cannot go, please PM me. I could not book due to only having a Maestro card!!0
