What an appallingly badly designed flash site!
I got on several times, but there was no obvious way to select the 'check out' date - it appears you have to click on 2 blocks to book 1 night - !!!!!!?!!!
Needless to say by the time I fathomed this they were all gone. Grr.0 -
WOW, I got one, got the email confirmation really quickly, fantastic, didn't think I would have a hope so really, really pleased!:jHave a week in Wales with the kids payed for with Tesco vouchers at Haven and now a free over night stay in London! My OH was trying for a room at the same time as me on another PC - he had problems with the flash site but it was taking ages to load on my PC so I clicked onto something saying "click here if you are having problems with flash" - seems not being very technical was an advantage for me on this occasion.0

Hi,Has anyone stayed at the Hoxton before?
I've just booked a room for OH and myself and I was really pleased with myself... but having now read the confirmation email, it says the duvets are duck down? OH is really allergic to feathers.
Anyone know from experience if it'll be a hassle trying to get some synthetic duvets out of the staff...? Thanks.
I have, it's a lovely hotel & staff have always been nice to me. Unsure how hard it is to get synthetic duvet. Why not put your room temp up and sleep under a sheet that you take with you?
Or leave him at home(only joking). Have a lovely time.0 -
I am so glad I managed to work out how to do it - got £1.00 room (wrong dates but I've given it to my sister) and a £29.00 room for hubby and me. We've stayed there before and it was fantastic - small but perfectly formed rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.0

The world and his dog were all trying to book one where I work.
And I was the only one who got one! £29 though but for half-term in October it's fabulous.

I managed to get a room for £1, and am still in shock.
I had the HTML site up and had already put my dates in and wondered why they came up at £79 still, but then luckily spotted the promotional rates link and got through. And the auto-form filler worked. I thought I was going to lose it for a minute when I was staring at the currency box wondering why GBP weren't in there, and then realised that was only if you needed to change the currency. D'oh! :rotfl:
I'm staying Fri 22nd August, which will be a very nice way to start the bank holiday weekend. I've requested a twin, so hopefully will find someone who wants to come and see a show with me and will share the goodness.
Anyone who's stayed there before, is it quite easy to get a twin rather than a double? Has anyone ever ended up with a double when they wanted a twin?0 -
I managed to get a £1 room for the 18th and another in a seperate booking for the 19th...is that within the rules? The website states you can only book 1 room for 1 night per booking...I made 2 seperate bookings?0

Definately agree about the beds, love the breakfast being left on the door as well, plus having fresh milk all for a grand total of a pound. Roll on September x2026 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #24 £9469.93/£20000 OP0 -

You will have both bookings cancelled! Sorry!
Nah I'm just jealous. But they do say one booking at £1 per person (not per booking), and they may cancel all your bookings if you book more than one. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0
