Perhaps all the malicious watchers overloaded eBay's server! :rotfl:

I was under the impression that the more watchers a listing had the more visibility it gets on eBays front page, so although some of these people come across as idiots by protesting about watchers they may be using reverse psychology, anticipating people going out of their way to watch the item to be annoying.

    Had an idea.

If the above is true how about a thread here at MSE where you post your link to your selling items and we all click watch for each others items.

Probably the bit that said SORRY I DON'T TAKE PAYPAL that did for them.

    (No I didn't report them)

They've written on the new one that it is cash on collection only with a 10% deposit through PayPal, so unless eBay allow that (?) I imagine it will be going shortly too.

To be fair though, the seller has only said don't watch if you're not actually interested in buying, which I think is fair enough. I don't want anyone who isn't interested in buying to watch my items either!

This URL will automatically add the item to watch lists when it is clicked...

This is how a lot of people get their items onto the Pulse, especially with cars - these links are found on a lot of motoring forums and discussion sites.
