Hope this helps got 2 lots of cashback when this voda deal was £25-00 for each sim - DONT call them up on the 0870 number as you can wait 10 mins plus so my advice is e-mail them and you get an auto reponse to say they will contact you in 24hrs.

Phone 'em up and tell them you're going to another service and you want the PAC number and they'll give it ya

End your voda contract get a pac code. Wack it on a PAYG SIM for 7 days and then port it back to Vodafone..

I'm not sure I get that, Reyes, what do you mean by per minute billing rather than the usual per second?

I've ordered one of this now, they seemed to ask a lot of questions to process my order! Just checking, is this the address I forward my (original?/photocopied?)bill to, to claim the cashback :

So I will be expecting a bill in the post soon and have to pay for the first month then?

I assume it's Vodafone I have to call to downgrade after 7 months. Want to be careful here, so do I call at the start of the 6th/7th month or at the end? And pretty much just say, I wish to cancel the free weekend calls/to change the tariff I'm currently on?

probably should have asked earlier but didn't remember:P and if I didn't order now, I'd probably forget about it again during the day and miss out!

Takes about 5 working days to get the sim.

They send it special delivery, so someone will need to be at home to pick it up.

Otherwise you will need to go to your post office to pick it up.

I used to be a mobile phone dealer. So basically what happens is when you sell a contract you get commission. This commission is usually used to subsidise the cost of the handset.

But in the case of the Vodafone sim only deal they will not supply a handset but instead provide you with some of the commission back.

If you can't ring them .. (I rang them first thing in the morning and got through very quickly) I suggest you email them.
