That's a very nice post above, mcr.
Hannahsmummy, well done on passing your driving test, and have a lovely wedding anniversary. Forget about everything else tonight.
Take care. xxx:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Woohoo! well done for passing your driving test! That must make you feel a bit better at least (I'm still trying so I know how hard it is!). Best of luck with Friday, I'm sure that you'll be fine,

Congrats on the driving test and on your wedding anniversary.
You've been given good advice on and off the board. Just stay calm and keep neutral. I'm sure it'll be fine on Friday.

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to the Employment board, where it should get more replies. I have dug out my employee handbook, and have read all the disciplinary action chapters in there, and what they have to do etc, so i shall be making sure they follow it to the t. Thanks again!
No. You should hope that they don't follow it. That way you have grounds for appeal.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Take it as a good sign that your work is communicating with you (aside from sending the formal letters). If they are bothering to advise you that they are unlikely to sack you, then they must care about you, must appreciate your contribution to the company and must realise that you are upset and sorry.
The fact that your company is communicating with you could also act in your favour! We had someone who ***ked up, and was told by HR he would get sacked for it. So he got sacked. He won his appeal and got reinstated on the grounds that the hearing was pre-empted and the decision to sack him was made before the hearing.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Congrats hun on passing your test :T:T:T
see things are looking up for you, I think if they were intending to sack you, you would of known by now, they haven't suspended you etc......
I think you'll get a slap on the wrist and a 'Don't do it again'
Procedures must be followed so you cannot sue them later.Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0
