    Good afternoon everyone...

Happy birthday spud. Tigtag - I'm thinking of you. Hope things improve soon.

I'm not having the best day/week/month or year...
The washing machine is cleaning clothes but seems to have lost the ability to spin-dry. I managed to hand-wring about 5 litres of water from them when I took them out of the washer, so think it'll be a new washing machine for me. The old one is over 10 years old (if not 11 or 12 years) so it's done us well.

My biopsy results came back positive for abnormal cells in the growth they removed. Just waiting now for the referral to a consultant for investigations. I'm remarkably positive though about this - convinced it's nothing to be too worried about, more it's a step too close to Big C than I'd care for but it isn't big C!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Cat, sorry your biopsy results weren't what you would have wanted, but I'm glad you are being so positive about it. I hope when you see the consultant, they are able to put your mind at rest.

I'm even amused with my family and their tactless comments such as Wayne suggesting I book that dream holiday to go swimming with dolphins 'before it's too late', or suggesting he needs to buy a new suit. My sister hoping that she gets to see me when she comes to the UK at the end of July or my brother giving me a bear hug in the shops and asking me to let him know if there's anything he can do!

I'm more concerned with work and the clinical exams I'm organising in three weeks' time. Wondering if I'll pull it all together in time "as if by magic"! Course I will ;)
