Ciao seems to have gone downhill.
They apparently advertise on banners on some websites (sorry, I don't know which websites) and have been known to be quite cryptic about it (think pine and think cone and think of things to do with those words rather then the words themselves).
However, they do not recruit very often, so its a matter of keeping yur eyes open and visiting many sites I'm afriad.
And they don't do referals at the moment (haven't been doing so for well over 8 months now).0 -

I have been taking paid surveys for two years (all the ones mentioned in this thread and a few others) and have earned an estimated £3000, the highest paid one was for £90 for three one hour online forums on computer hard drives. I have also had several £50 ones and lots of £20 and £30s. I was given some good advice when i first started and that is: Stick with them, start all the surveys you are sent, (you will not qualify for all of them), survey companies want respondents that they can rely on, the more you do the more you will get and the better rewards.
Most of the the companies pay out at the end of the month after you cash in your points so don't start worrying for at least 6 weeks. i have always been paid sooner or later and now get something at least once a week.
As for Ciao and Toluna they have both paid me in the £100s, get past their 10p and low point surveys and they offer up to £20 and 80000 point ones.
Get a Paypal account and Paypal card and it makes spending your rewards much easier.
Hope this helps

Interesting way of doing it, one question is that a top up paypal card or a paypal Visa card? ThanksThey say that football is a religion, if this is true I worship at the Exacta Stadium, Chester0 -
I've been doing YouGov surveys for about 18 months and was paid £50 in 2008. Not bad going.MyMoneyFish0

Guys just two quick reminders:)
No referral requests are allowed on this board that includes through pm
REFERRAL LINKS/ADVERTISING
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: Sorry, referral links and suggestions are only permitted on the Referrers Board. I have asked Board Guides to move any they see on the main boards. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
Also regarding pinecone this is an extract from the site rulesTopics include Mercury Telecom, Sainsbury’s Discount codes, La Redoute, Vertbaudet. While Pinecone Research discussions have previously been removed we would now like to ask that it be discussed only on the official thread linked to from the Boost Your Income article.
Bearing this in mind I'd ask that from now on no referral requests are made or mention of Pinecone use the relevant boards.
Thanks guys:):hello:0 -
Belle read the post above yours! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

If you have any questions you can private message me. Hope this helps anyone thiking of signing up for any above sites..

After approximately 3 months Opinium have finally paid me the £20, but they did not respond to any of my emails or offer any kind of explanation or apology, so not exactly a positive experience!0
-
Yes opinium are being problematic for me as well. I would recommend to anyone to watch out for this lot. They do seem very dodgy on the support side not e-mailing me back at all! Prehaps even trying to get out of paying people. They still send their lousy surveys though.0
-
Really sorry if this is in the wrong thread but couldn't find anywhere else to ask. I am a member of quidco, ipoints and mutualpoints and wondered if it is ok for another person to use my computer and register with these sites? The home address will be the same but email will of course be different.0
