  • I have signed up twice now. 2008-2009, via Virgin Atlantic, and got after one year 1,000 air miles. 500 for signing up, and only managed to get 500 with surveys. I was not asked to register for another year, so I unregistered with them.

This time I was invited to enrol with the Holiday Inn, Priority Club. But this time no welcome 500 points, and at the moment (since June 2009) 4,980 points. So it looks like I we only manage another 1,000 airmiles. I got an e-rewards survey this morning, for printers, which I managed to complete fully for 200 points.

My wife was asked to register via Virgin Atlantic, and guess what, she only managed to get 1,000. She was not invited to register for the following year.

They are very slow, with emails coming forward, and you do have to be quick off the mark to do the surveys. I did mine this morning within 10 minutes of getting the survey. 4 hours plus, forget it.

Maybe companies are not requesting as many surveys, and also I know air lines don't generally like giving away air miles!

You have got 500 miles for not doing very much, which is more than you had before, try for a year, you may get another 500 who knows.

My gripe with them is mainly that I do answer a lot of the questions on surveys before I get the 'ineligible' message.

They would be able to report on their research without paying out for it.

I've been doing them for a couple of years and am nowhere near getting any rewards - thinking of giving up as it doesn't seem to be worth the bother. Similarly Hi epanel / Harris.
Had a bit more luck with YouGov

I am enrolled with them through Holiday Inn too and get on average 1 survey a week. I usually find it about fifty fifty whether I get accepted for the full survey or not.
This morning I did a survey about hairspray and they asked at the end if I would do a 2 week trial in February. This is the first time I've ever had something to trial after about a year of being a member.

I had nearly enough points to redeem as airmiles but not quite enough and they were just about to expire but had not had a survey for ages so not way of topping my points up.
I emailed and explained this and they did award me 50 free points so that I had enough to redeem.
  • I have been using e-rewards for about 2 years now (enrolled via Virgin Atlantic). I find it goes through phases - sometimes i get several surveys in a month, other times just the one. I think all in all i have claimed about 4 lots of 500 miles. My dad is also using e-rewards and he gets loads of surveys - has claimed 10k plus in virgin miles. My mum on the other hand hasnt had a survey in months.

I did however complete a survey last year and at the end of it was invited to do a further 1 week survey that involved writing my opinions on on a particular subject and got £140 Amazon voucher for it. So no complaints for me.
  • I've had some success - just got enough points for further set of BA miles. I also often get ineligible results but all those 10/ 50 points add up eventually.

Often if you change your profile a little bit it will send you additional surveys.

Good luck - it takes time but not much effort really.

Not having heard from YouGov since before Christmas I've just received their monthly Oracle survey, although that one only gets you into a £1000 draw, no points. Still you never know...

Both OH and I have signed up (via BA) and get a couple of surveys a week, in fact 4 each this week. We qualify for about 80% and doing well with points - be cashing some in soon.
I find these companies all very different, as the others I'm signed up for, I only qualify for about 20%.

I signed up with these a few weeks ago as well. They phoned me up last week and I'm due delivery of the scanner tomorrow morning :)

Strangely enough, after posting that I hadn't heard, I've just had an email to arrange the delivery of my scanner :)

Also happy to report that my Lightspeed points have been added so I have just ordered (AND received) my £25 Amazon evoucher :j. I also ordered a £10 Amazon voucher from Ipsos which I haven't received yet, but will keep an eye out.

So, today seems to be a good day in the world of Biggles! :D
