Hi, CCStar,
anyone can pay money into your paypal account- they just need your email address, its why paypal is so popular
what they cannot do is withdraw it- its why your password should be very very secret! but even having said that, you get an email everytime anything goes into or out of your paypal so you can report odd things happening.
Paypal is very very safe- I wouldnt worry about this being paid in, just worry about what comes out as your the only one who is supposed to be able to do that- unless you have direct debits set up with them for something.0 -
Hi!
This is my first post although I visit this site regularly, its probably been mentioned on here before but I am a member of http://www.juicybrainspanel.com/
and so far have earned £13.70 redeemable in amazon vouchers.
I only do a survey every once in a while but it will be a nice little treat at the end.
To earn more money can I suggest using greasypalm, for each recommendation after they have earned a certain amout (its not much) you can earn £7 for each new member so if anyone is interested let me know and I'll recommend you!! ...cheeky I know but like you I'm saving hard.
Through this site I have so far earned £183.64 and counting, my boyfriend has earned a similar amount plus by switching house insurance etc I've had some really good deals, I didn't pay house insurance for 9 months by keep switching and getting the 3 months free deal, I think HSBC are still doing this.. Hope this helps other savers!

I was with Lightspeed, but I got kicked off because it said I was regsitered twice? I couldnt work that out, but I think maybe it's because I access my home email from work? And do the surveys in my lunchbreak. Sadly, for me that was the best one! I'm also with Valued Opinions and have a total of £6.05 with a whopping .75p pending! I also do Toluna - been with them a couple of years and sent off for a HMV voucher in June - still dont have it though. I'm with Ipoints and they're quite good too ... I seem to get at least 1 email clickthrough a week although most often it's 4 or 5, and the occasional survey through Surveys.com. Pigsback is another good one ... I have just over £20 with them at the mo, and Quidco too ... only about .18p but hey, I'm not complaining!
I've joined MyTNS too, although since April I've only had 1 survey! I guess I dont fit their demographic as I dont have any children, just me and my husband and we both work full time. I also joined Mutualpoints, American Consumer Panel and yesterday so I'm hoping this will work out!
I've also been with Shop & Scan for a year now and I find they're great, although it takes ages to join up. They dont do a referral scheme, so anyone wanting to join needs to register their interest at volunteer4panels.co.uk.
I'm being made redundant probably in October this year, so I'm joining as many as I can to try and get a cusion for Christmas. If anyone can recommend me for Pinecone I'd be very grateful!0 -
Just got another voucher off Valued Opinions (finally!), now I'll have to wait for another so that I can get away without paying delivery at Amazon. I hate how all their prices are like 5.99 and not 6.00.0

I can add to that ciao, zoom, ipoints, Harris, Brain Juicer, Spot Survey, Neilsen, Mi-info and Saros- never recieved anything but invites to competitions which in nearly 5 years I have never ever won, and any "points" I do get from the others are worthless as £1 shops sell things very similar! Ipoints are rubbish for this very reason!
Goodluck- be good to know which survey sites are worth it from your point of view!
I'm doing ok on ipoints and Light speed. Mytns are a pain at the moment, waiting for points and I ain't getting them. Grrrr. Makes me really angry when I don't get the points, feels like a waste of time doing the surveys.
I agree, Mi info is rubbish. Is the site actually working yet? lol. Pigsback has got really rubbish lately, lots of 'no-show' points there too, defo closing that one but still managed £60 from them in vouchers this year :rotfl:
I want to try valued opinions and pinecone. They sound good. :jOn a Money Saving Mission....... :jEvery Penny's a Prisoner0 -
I'm excited as i just got my first £10.00 voucher for HMV from Lightspeed. Only took a week and a half to get the 1100 points. Ipsos been emailing quite frequently and I am glad to see I not the only one who is being constantly rejected by Ciao.
Also could I ask if anyone would be kind enough to refer me for Pine cone, if they have a referal to give.
Hope I'm not being to cheeky.0 -
Hi eveyone!
I've only been with valuedopinions for about a week, so I'm glad to hear it's alright.
I'd really like to join Pinecone, from all i've been reading. If anyone could be kind enough to invite me.... i'd really appreciate it!!

You must be very lucky with surveys! I've only been able to actually complete a couple and there were five or so, which I received ages ago that simply didn't work so I lost out there. I hardly ever get sent any survey links from Lightspeed.0
