Im a member of valued opinions and lightspeed. Ive done some surveys for the latter and am baffled as to how to redeem the points. It says on the site to go to your lightspeed account and click the 'Go' button but i cant find it anywhere. Has anyone else had any trouble?

Log in, click `my lightspeed account` then in the thick blue banner running across, click `enter shop` :)

  • Thanks Bunny for your reply. I clicked on 'enter shop' and 'Perks Plus' appeared asking for username and password. Is the username your e-mail? It would not accept it and login was unsuccessful. Also, how many points do you need to exchange? Thanks in anticipation.

I've not been doing this very long but am signed up with Lightspeed (Seem quite good although surveys don't seem to be that regular) OnePoll (nice and quick - it's going to take a while to reach £40 though!) and surveys.com (which seem a bit infrequent at the moment - and tracking whether the ipoints have gone through for the surveys you've done seems tricky). If anyone does still have a spare invitation for Pinecone they sound excellent - I'd very much appreciate an invitation if anyone has one.

hi, I just had an ipsos one yesterday, very random, asked afew questions on one topic, then another few on another completely different topic... think they must be checking my details hadnt changed or something, but I ususally dont get many from them anyway.

Its similar for me with most- I get so far and then it slows right down, conspiricy??! -lol!

Thanks for letting me know. I used to get at least 3 per week from them but now I get none... think I might email them and remind them that I still exist :o:rolleyes:

Hi, I had this problem too, just click on the part that says "forgotten your password?" or words to that effect, they sent an email with the info very quickly.

Some of them sound a bit mean - there seems to be a habit of stopping the surveys when you're close to payout! Doesn't sound very fair to me.....
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
    :rotfl:
  • Thanks Jenniewb. I clicked 'forgot password' and they emailed it to me. I also tried to change it but wouldnt allow. I think the site has been set up to be like that and that ive been conned into these surveys and now i cant redeem.!! When i emailed Lauren she just sent a reply about the prize draws and completely failed to answer the question. I am totally disallusioned.

havent actually tried to redeem lightspeed things myself, on my last look I had enough points to get a paypal voucher- though not cashed this in just yet.

I logged in, went to the top of the screen and clicked on points account or words to that effect, there it shows you how many points you have, then slighly beneath that theres a "shop" tab, click on that and there you can select a range of stuff to buy with your points.

The site seems to be working fine for me, I rarely get any surveys from them these days though, would be great if I could as then I could actually claim something worthwhile with my points!
