oooh! I was rather exited by this-:j thankyou for agreeing with me!:T I thought I was going mad! I have had about 3 valuedopinions surveys in about a year- so obviously not getting anywhere with this one- but I guess you dont get anywhere by cancelling, they dont ask me loads of surveys for nothing like ciao so I will keep valued opinions I think.

Ciao seem to be the worst in my view, I get a survey around every other day and it normally ends up with me doing most if not all of it, then being told I am not able to qualify for the 5p payment  which I think is mean and out of order. Sweepstakes I dont actually believe exist on ciao, despit being enetered around 30 times a month, I think thats a big fat lie. Call me mad but I am awaiting about 50p then I am off.

Global test market are ok, I do have about £15 now with them- its taken a long long time and I get about 2 surveys a week, normally qualify for about 25% of them, its taken years and years to get to £15 though.

Pure profile I like too, their surveys are infrequent but pay well, every survey pays something, even if its 10p. :money: I have around £12 from them and thats within the past 6 months.

Lightspeed are ok, I get asked to do normally 2 surveys every other week, then sometimes nothing for 3 weeks, but they do pay well, if you qualify, its around £1 a survey (£10 = 1100 points and many surveys are atleast 110 points if you qualify).

My top tip is to go to your profile page on each page and see if you can get the survey requests boosted, this could mena being able to get emails every day rather then once a week- so saying your a frequent internet user, ticking as many boxes as possible, so what things you have experience in, think broadly about this, there are many personality questions on the profiles, try to be available for as many of the surveys as possible, it seems to make a slight difference. You get points for doing this in most cases too.

I also find review sites like dooyou get results, you get about 50p for everything you review well, and can pick up points quite quickly this way if you like to write- its also a good way of practicing your typing skills! I have in the past 3 weeks been very buisy on that and now am nearly able to add 3 £10 amazon vouchers -:D I just have 4 more things to review.

Mnay of the others show poor results for me, harris, gfk tv survey, ciao, opinionworld and lightspeed quicksurveys (not the actual ones, the ones you see on the homepage) only giveing me sweepstakes points- worthless to me as I have tried in the past entered every competition going, from doing the lottery every month for 2 years, cross word competitions, sweepstakes surveys... all come to nothing. I do actually believe there are "lucky" people who are able to win thinsg- you hear of actual "professional compers" who give up thier jobs and live off winings from constantly winning surveys. Well my 5 year stinit at the national lottery, lucky dip every time once per month every month, and not even able to win £10, showed me that I am actually not a lucky person, either that or I am very unlucky. I wont be entering the lottery again, I have never won anything in my life- besides a university place and I don t think that counts:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: so I hate sweepstakes which for me are pointless.

Ipoints seems rubbish to me as it takes too long to save for anything worthwhile and I never ever qualify for any of the surveys- I do about half then I am terminated for not being qualified. I can only really get points 10 at a time, about 3 times a week on clickthroughs. Nearly pointless. (pardon the pun!)

    hope that helps

If anybody could possibly refer me to pinecone or IPSOS it would be greatly appreciated. Been trying to join pinecone for what seems like forever but alas I cannot find one of their banners anywhere.

    Hi,
Just wondered if anyone had had any pinecone surveys? I regestered afew weeks ago, through an invite, but I have only had one survey which told me the link didnt work, I emailed the siter and was sent back a reply saying there was nothing I could do, it was the tech.s job to findout what went wrong and fix it. Since then, nothing, no surveys, not £.

    Anyone else had anything similar?

hi i really like onepoll, the surveys are only 10p each but they are short and sometimes questions make me laugh, plus although i don't usually bother with the competition surveys i didthe other day and i won £200!

  • Hi. I really like MySurvey. I get a lot of surveys by e-mail and have had pantene shampoo through the post to try out. You get paid in Nectar points which I spend on going to the cinema as a treat. :)
I also do global test market but haven't made enough points to convert to money yet! The same applies with Toluna seems to take forever to get to 60000 points needed for £10 sainsbury voucher.
I am also with Home of Research. I don't get many sruveys from them either. I think MySurvey (MyTNS) are the best. They all take a long time to make money though.

Opinion bar is my fave but not listed, the only one I have ever actually received money from (£10 and near to my next cheque for a tenner arriving). All the other always say I am never suitable or I simply dont get offered enough to make it worthwhile. Yesterday I did a home of research one and it took 15 minutes before telling me I wasnt in the target group. Personally, I think they are a waste of time and I would rather channel the energy into something I am more certain will make me money, like ebay or amazon.
