Update.
Today I received 2 SMS messages on my phone confirming receipt of my phone bill, and my success in claiming the cheque back.
This, despite me sending my FIFTH invoice back to them.
If you read my ealier messages in this thread, you will see that I checked on their web site where they advised me to send my September invoice - although that was my fufth, not sixth invoice. (I can only assume that it was because my first invoice included two payment periods.)
Cheers,

When I took out this contract I already had an existing contract with Orange, so the bills were combined and sent in one envelope with one cover page giving me a monthly total.
As this offer didn't include itemised billing I was given the option to either pay £1.50 per month for itemised billing, or loose the detailed version on my existing one and vew it online.
What I'm wondering is if they'll accept the page referring to this account from my monthly bill by post, or could I use use a self printed one from the Orange site (assuming I can actually do that, as I've never tired it).
I deffinately didn't receive a cheque for the first cashback amount so I'll have to ask about that too, hopefully not too late. It wasn't paid directly into the bank was it?0 -
In 'my' case I received a cheque. £60 I think.
BTW.....I don't have itemised billing. Is it available free on the internet for ALL users? There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't!0 -

So the person I spoke to at Orange told me. They said I could either pay £1.50 which would in effect give me itemised on both bills, or I could view them online if I wanted (after registration for that feature from memory). Other than that I would need to have the accounts seperated and I may have 'problems' doing that.0 -
I did what you did Don. I was waiting on my Oct bill to arrive, then thought to check the site and it told me the same thing; to send my Sep bill which is my 5th also. I gave them a ring (30min on hold!) as my oct bill arrived too yesterday. I asked if I should just send BOTH. She said no I would (just) be in time if I sent the Sep.
All a little misleading though really, eh. Happens when you're dealing with two different companies about the same thing. As far as the bill provider goes, what they've sent out is def the '5th bill'.
And remember peeps, keep an eye on that automated cashback which you should have received by doing nothing (ie no sending of bills), after 1 month of you not cancelling contract you should have received £60. I hadn't and got them to amend that yesterday too.
How long, Don was it between sending the bill back and receiving the text?0 -
I have always had to chase!
The £60 cheque was only received after I chased it.
I sent the invoice to them about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Heard nothing.
But then sent an E-mail stating that I had sent the bill according to THEIR stated requirements, and had sent it by recorded delivery. Got their tex the very next day.
Still says I have to wait for the cheque (45 days I think), but at least they've now confirmed that I'm entitled to it!
Cheers,

Update:-
Just received my cheque for £97.56.
Remember....I sent my FIFTH phone bill to them, not SIXTH! This was in accordance with their on-line checker as opposed to the original T&Cs.
So.....I have paid approx. £15x3 + £30x2 = £105
I have had cashback of £60+£97.56=£157.56
I still have to pay £30x7=£210
I still have a cashback to come of £97.56.

Eek...
I just checked my online help, and it says to send the 6th and 12th.. which is October...
but also says at the bottom to send the September Bill.
We were worried about it at the time (my mum has the same contract) and she phoned to ensure whether it was the 6th month, or the 6th bill...
and they told her the 6th bill.
Has anybody else sent the 6th bill or have you all gone with the 5th??
I dont see how they can refuse to pay us back if we send the October bill as that it what they originally told us, and it does say the 6th bill.
What a pain
Be nice0
