just a friendly reminder to the forum that your 6th bill should be arriving anytime soon and you should be due £97 odd quid in cash back.

  • Thanks for that!

I've been going over this in my head for months knowing I'd end up missing the date.

Was there an earlier part to the cashback on this deal, say a month into it. I can't remember the details now but working out to £4.99 a month, two lots of £97 back didn't seem to add up.

Also has anyone else been caught out on the £10 per Mb of GPRS on this, after my first bill I promptly disabled GPRS on this particular contract.

Dont know about this one but most have a automatic cashback after 1 month then you have to claim the others. I took out a contract with OSPS that did not appear to add up but I was not allowing for the cashback in month 1.

I also understand with OSPS you have to claim in month 6 with your latest bill (so could be bill #5) and with carphonewarehouse you send the 6th bill.

I went to the web site and entered my details, so that it would tell me which bills to send for the cash back. It said I should send the 'last' bill (September's I think). I send it, by recorded delivery, together with a copy of the web page that was telling me to send THAT bill.

Haven't heard back yet though. (And I've just received my latest bill dated 3 October today).

    when did you order Don??

I ordered mine in April (26th of april) and my first bill was in may (may 19th).

6th bill will be the october bill, which wont arrive for another few weeks. But it seems most people are sending in their 5th bill???

    My details:-

    I ordered on 27th April 2005.

I have received bills on 3 May, 3 June, 3 July, 3 Aug, 3 Sept, and one today dated 3 October.
(Although the first bill included 'two' charges, for the following periods:
28 April to 02 May and 03 May to 02 June)

Now, I 'know' the rules say to return the 6th and 12 bills.
However, I went to the e2save.com web site and went to their 'cashback' page. By entering your order number, it tells you what bills to send. It came up with the following for me:
    "Don't forget:
    * To claim your chequeback (cashback) send the invoice that you receive in September and March within 30 days of receiving them."

So I sent my September invoice to them, together with a copy of the web page quoting my order number and THEIR instructions as to what invoice to send. I'm assuming they can't argue with their own instructions. Can they.....?

I'm also assuming that because the first bill included 2 charges, that they counted as two. I know with an earlier contract, I was actually sent separate invoices, one for a few days, and then a normal one for a full month.

    Any experience/advice from others?

I think I'll E-mail them directly just to make sure.

I got the first £60 cashback cheque, but not within the period they stated, and only after chasing for it.

    Cheers,
    Don

Is anybody going to drop their contract to a £15/month one? Orange will let you do that now after 6 months, but E2Save might not like it. If you can do it then you are into £15 profit a month.

Guess i better send my september bill in tommorow then!!! only 10 days left if i have to get it to them. Its so confusing, really thought it was the next one as thats the 6th bit of paper i will be getting, but as you say, it looks like i have to actually send the 5th one. But anyway il follow it up with a phone call to check they have processed it. Thanks.

I suggest you do what I did. Go to the site. Go to the help pages. Go to the cashback help page. Enter your order number, and it will tell you which invoice to send. And then sent THAT one together with a copy of the web page. Surely they can't argue with their own advice!
