ok guys slightly off topic, can anyone suggest a pressy for myy SIL?
Hi, I have had pretty good sucess with gifts in a Basket. For my friends "40th", I bought a nice Basket (it was about £3), then put in things like little jar moisturiser, small bottle of wine, chocs, book newish that I had just read, hand cream, and a large posh M&S Sunhat. Did similar thing with my mum. My hubby got his in a large plant pot;). I did deacorate it a bit with some ribbon and bows. Only a suggestion, but you could personalise it, as you will know the kind of stuff she likes.
Must join challenge next month, trying to train hubby a bit more, as he passes Mr A on the way home. Repeat after me "Only buy whats on the list":rotfl:
    Grocery challenge june £300/ £211-50.
    Grocery challenge july £300/£134-85.

I really must learn how to do the quotes in neat little boxes....might rub off to put stuff in neat little boxes in the real world then:rolleyes: ........NAH!...THAT is never gunna happen:rotfl:

Just wanted to say there's a load of ideas on the Special Occasions board for making hampers & loads of really cool gifts that look very professional but for pennies as opposed to £££ charged for similar in the shops. HTH.

Well yesterdays NSD did not quite work out as DS decided he wanted some cup a soup for lunch (not coming home at lunch for a bit)- popped to the COOP and got that, BOGOF mini cheddars and Hovis BOB half price (been making own bread but we love BOB lol).
Not sure what today holds but no big spends planned.
Re the using vouchers thing- I am all for them, used in their proper place, not in a way that will get checkout assistant in trouble and never in a way that can be described as 'scamming'. The whole idea of GC, to me anyway, is to shop on a budget but honestly too. Each to their own of course.
Good luck everyone and welcome all newbies :D :T :D
