Just got off the phone with great universal and if you are a new customer,you will have to wait at least 7 days before they even process your order and a few more days while they do a credit check(if you applied for 20 week credit)
The lady on the phone said 'as your first order is for more than £150/175,the creit people will have to do a more rigerous check(?)'
Now the bad news-as the checking and processing takes this amount of time,the camcorder will most likely have sold out.

Any new orders by phone are processed the same day!!! :mad: :mad: and you still get 20% off :rotfl:

What makes you wonder if they will reject all these orders

I ordered mine online when they were showing in stock,recieved a conformation email straight away.The following morning I recieved an email saying it would be delivered by the 13th(Thursday).That was with 20wks interest free.Have to wait and see

same as me...but I also got that same info from Kays and the Dyson saga...not holding my breath now I'm afraid.

I have just checked my account through the website and the order is there with the 20% deducted. No info re the delivery date though. I chose to pay with my credit card.

Before placing my order I noticed that it was possible to pay for items over £59.99 on 40 weeks interest free terms. However, on placing the order the only option available for me to choose from was either to pay with a credit/debit card or over 20 weeks interest free.

I emailed Great Universal re this and had a reply back today confirming that they have amended my payments to over 40 weeks interest free. Will take longer to pay off the bill but with christmas coming up is a great help and you can always pay off more if you want to.
