I think mines going back ... :( ... Because there is no logical way to hold the damn thing in one hand with any degree of comfort... And thats without big hands ... gggggrrrrr ... I just cannot get any degree of success with comfy one hand operation which should be possibe..... Surely?

Two handed is not a problem, but even then, it isn't a natural grip. :(

....mmmm...interesting. I've not given mine that much of a try-out apart from a few initial tests. I'm used to holding a VX2100 and keeping it steady at full zoom but it may prove that the tiny cams are the more difficult to hold. Will have to try some more if I can get the time.

Well.... Without a strap, one is physically gripping the camcorder (no relaxing of the grip against the strap) and being so damn square and ergonomically twinned with a copy of collins pocket dictionary, it's only the thumb that "grips" the side of the camera near the body.... And the thumb needs to relax to allow it to operate the zoom..... Thus it ends up a two handed affair with the left hand operating the on/off button in theleft hand corner of the screen.

I found I was resting the camera on my ring and little finger with a very loose grip using my thumb and two fingers. Now, remembering the screen hangs off the left, it is not very well balanced.

Now.... the part of the camera you actually grip, is unfortunatly the cassette door and battery flap, which as I mentioned before are "creaky".... Thus, at no point do I feel that the camcorder is an extension of my arm.... Rather t's a foreign object I am trying to capture footage with. :(

    Anyone any thoughts?

Hey, I'm not complaining, I didn't get a camera as they were out of stock.
    (i'm glad actually)

I bought through greasy palm though and my gp account has been credited £12.60 by Great Universal

I'm going to have to find some other out of stock items to order!
