I hate it when you get to the checkout stage and you start questioning if you really need it! How frustrating... Its much smaller than my current DV camcorder so should be easier on holidays.

yeah i did find those reviews,but it is probably reviewed by some camcorder geek who owns a 3k camcorder,and based on the full selling price.

it will do for me nice and portable,a well known make,and i can now transfer all my mini dv tapes onto my laptop and burn them to dvd's its still worth the £230 or so for me.

All the reviews i looked at said the same poor picture quality and the customer reviews at Amazon.

If im taking memories of my kids i want them to be good quality not poor quality for future viewing.
