Just while I'm in the mood, I thought I'd have a bit of a reminisce. So last year saw us unexpectedly purchasing a house, also got the beautiful Izzy puppy (well she's nearly an adult but will always be my baby!) 2 new to us cars (1 of which is on the cc), double glazing and other works done in our current rented house, numerous amounts of decorating and laminate flooring put down.

Business wise, new lights a whole new computer system and much needed hot water heater installed. We still have a classic mini in storage which we hope to sell. Going forwards need to get to grips with a new website which isn't going to be cheap and need to get on with this sooner rather than later. Also need to focus a lot more on ebay as I see this as my way out of my current job.

I've had a couple of run ins with the powers that be over something very ridiculous, so despite saving the company 26K on an electrical contract I really don't feel very valued.

Anyway onwards and upwards. Forgot to say another £500 paid off the house. Already got 5 weeks booked for this year and this will be the first full year so we'll get a rough idea of what income its going to make.

I seen your post and mentioned it to hubby. He wants to know what model, what year and what condition is your Mini in?

Managed to go swimming last night and trust me it was needed as all I did was stuff my face yesterday.

OH has had an offer through for a 0% balance transfer until Nov 18 so that will take care of the balance on my card. Need to make a point of doing that over the weekend.

So also managed to go for a run (aka shuffle) on Saturday morning with the dog. Felt quite virtuous all day. This week have got dog agility if I'm back in time on Monday night. Badminton on Tuesday, nothing Wednesday and away to house of Friday. I'll attempt to do exercise DVD before Sunday.

Money news cleared OHs credit card, however something else has come up so not been able to balance transfer my card as planned, I'll look for another deal. Did lots of paperwork and submitted the VAT return. Also tried to sort out DS1s paperwork to file for his tax return. Hopefully the accountant will accept it this time, fingers crossed.

Spent sometime today trying to tame the garden. Had a big bonfire and will probably need to rotovate and then reseed and area. In the afternoon went to the workshop to take some pics for ebay so these can be posted whilst we're away.

My Kindle has decided to stop working. Had it on charge overnight but still can't get it to work this morning/ Really not sure what's up with it.

Sent out lots of invites for OH2 50th decided to have Gangsters, flappers and molls as the theme. Still need to organise a DJ and decide on the buffet.

Got to pick up me new glasses tomorrow, not looking forward to that as they're varifocals.

    Have a good week

New glasses collected and back in today to get the nose bits adjusted as they were hurting. Seem ok now. Dog agility and badminton done. Nothing else exercise wise. Lovely sister has managed to get Kindle working so all is not lost.

Packed ready for the off tomorrow night. Weather forecast is blooming awful and I'll be panicing all the way. Hope the hound behaves better in the hotel than last time.

Had a good trip up north and got lots of jobs done on the house. Thinking about having a stove put in but will have to wait until finances are in a better position.

Had a real struggle with the business this winter and its touch and go whether we can keep it going. Its been really hard this year and I feel like I've been fire fighting since August. We have a fantastic turnover however the cash flow just doesn't seem to be flowing.

I had wanted to quit work this year and go and work in the shop but that certainly isn't feasible. We are both trying to remain positive and focus on the business and drum up trade. Need to have an urgent meeting with the accountant but shes been busy doing tax returns so hopefully later on this month we can have a chat.

I have got a stinker of a cold but hopefully on the mend. Feeling a bit run down and definitely stressed.
