Been on holiday the most exciting thing was seeing which way the rain was blowing. Managed to get some gardening done and planted some bulbs.

Got a few more weeks bookings and Christmas and New Year have been booked. Hoping to get another week away in October.

Doing a show with the garden machinery on Monday, hope the weather behaves.

Got a meeting with the accountant tonight, things are a bit squeaky. Hoping she'll be able to keep us on the straight and narrow.

Took the puppy to see a trainer last night. It appears that I'm doing all the right things just need to keep it up.

DS2 has had his As level results, not good. Currently he can't go back to do his second year of A levels unless he does a photography course. Not sure he wants to do that so he's going to look at apprenticeships.

DD2 has her results tomorrow. Strange child is actually excited by it.

Paid another 1000 off loan so its coming down. Got a meal out tomorrow night with badminton club. DD1 said she would drive.

So, all change in the L household. DD2 goes away to college 3 days a week and is on placement the other 2.

DS2 has turned 18 and managed to bag an apprenticeship with JCB. DD1 is back to uni and a bit bored as she's only in 1 and a bit days which is costing her a fortune and I think is a complete rip off. Don't get me started.

Had a weekend away with all the chaps to Callander, it was a comedy of errors from start to finish but a great time was had by all.

Off up to the house next week and I'm ridiculously excited. Got a few jobs to do. Looks like it needs a new window as the mechanism is !!!!!!ed. Hopefully getting it sorted.

Been taking the dog to classes and I really think she's made progress this week.

Had loads of building work done but hopefully nearly finished. Decorated the living room, dining room, kitchen. Currently doing our bedroom and hallway.

    Paid £1500 off our debt

Up at the Scottish hoose and its so good to be here. Fantastic weather, long may it continue. Got a few outside jobs to do. Stayed at a hotel last night that took dogs and Izzy decided to woof at every noise so not a great nights sleep was had!

The chaps are all coming up tomorrow after they've been to the young farmers masked ball. They look fab as they've sent me some pics.

Did take the hound to the groomers and she looked amazing, however she's only been here 5 mins and has remembered the stream.

Had a lovely time on holiday. Did go paintballing and wasn't looking forward to it but had a great time. Did manage to shoot OH revenge for him shooting me in the backside last time we went!

Still waiting to have the new window installed but got the chimney sweep booked for December. Just got our first booking for next year 2 weeks in August.

Went to help a friend on her farm milking. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. She gave me a bottle of fresh milk straight from the tank. Its in the slow cooker being transformed into rice pudding. Can't wait for that.

Money news Sigh. Have been informed that we have been over paid by working family tax and its not a small amount. Will have to look at the budget and set up a repayment.

Booked train tickets to go to York and do the Christmas markets. Never been so that should be good.

Taking the dog to a doggy agility day on Saturday. Should be interesting as she's not that obedient despite going to training classes.

Gosh its a bit lonely on here, must be boring everyone to death!

Well since I last posted I'm another year older. OH whisked me away for a night and for once I didn't find out about it.

Had works Christmas which went ok and didn't disgrace myself. Went to the local theatre and watched an improvised pantomime which was great and definitely for adults only. It's amazing how quickly everyone's minds goes straight into the gutter.

Everyone went to the dentists and poor OH had to have an extraction, he's on the mend now.

Christmas Day was different this year with DS1 being away. Myself and the DDs went milking on Christmas Morning. The chaps who had the farm didn't know we were going till we rocked up with Santa hats and were Christmas Elves. The chaps had to help out at dinner time as I was a bit squiffy. Sloe gin and prosecco is lethal. Played Pictonary and luckily the girls won but it was touch and go at one point.

Back at work on Friday but only for one day so managed that. Been to the beach quite a few times as the weather has been so good.

Also in the process of organising a 50th party for OH. He wasn't keen but has been persuaded. Booked the village hall and waiting to hear back from a DJ. Not sure what to do about the food. Going to have a fancy dress theme of Gangsters, flappers and Molls. The chaps all wanted Peaky Blinders but not sure how many people watch it.

Been to the opticians today. OH has got 2 new pairs of glasses, DD2 needed some and mine needed changing to varifocals so a very spendy day.
