    Hi Brizzle

Just back from a week in the lakes and would you believe it, I've been sunburnt! Walked up Black Combe in a vest top and now paying for it. Forgot I got prickly heat so just been to the chemists to get some anti histamines.

Eaten a serious amount of cake, so need to get my eating back under control. I did do a 4.7km run most days until I got an annoying blister.

Can't believe how cold it is. Have managed to get some washing on the line and will have to tackle the ironing mountain soon.

Need to catch up on loads of business paperwork and that's before I start work on Monday!

Paperwork caught up. Ironing mountain still growing. Managed to declutter the bathroom cabinet yesterday, got rid of loads of stuff we don't use.

Had 1/2 an hour sorting out the raspberry canes which should've been done last year. Saw a great plant at Muncaster Castle in the lakes called American Skunk Cabbage, I need to find out more about it.

DS1 is being a real pain at the moment. Really not sure how you discipline a 21 year old. He's treading a fine line. Came back to loads of grief so really don't feel like I've been away.

I went to get allergy tested on Friday as I've been feeling particularly yukky. Turns out I'm allergic to: tea, coffee (including caffeine free), Mono sodium glutamate, sugar, melon (possibly cucumber as its part of the same family so best avoided) and yeast. Well at least now I know. New start on Tuesday. Yes I know should start now but I've a nice bottle of red on the side.

Nice early start in the morning, off to Shropshire to look at........................ a puppy!!!!!!!!
