Had a lovely time last weekend with sis and Bil. We did go to the heavy horse show but it was a real disappointment. It was their first show and not very well organised and not many heavy horses. Still it was a nice day.
Took sis and hubby to the train station on Monday and 'found' 3 bewildered tourists trying to catch a bus to local town. As I was passing through I gave them a lift, 2 were from Malaysia and the other from Singapore. Hope they had a good time.
DD2 had a good birthday. All her friends are here and so far I haven't heard a peep out of them. They're hoping to catch the bus into the city, so I hope they've had some sleep!
DS1 has got his first full weekend off since March, so doubt he'll surface much before lunchtime. DD1s GCSEs start on Monday. Had to go to a rewards night at her school, was dreading it and didn't want to go, trouble was if she didn't turn u she couldn't go to the Prom. Reeks of blackmail. Actually it wasn't that bad and finished a lot sooner than I thought it would.
Ordered a 1000L of oil will probably do a top up in September and pray that gets us through to next year. At least I had the money saved up.
Hoping to get in the garden this weekend. Need to buy some wood to sort the hen pen out. Must weed the fruit bed, at least its a start.
Went to Bookers and Asda, spent a fortune but should see us for a while. Got 2 big bags of lemons for 50p a bag. So I'll have to make some lemon drizzle and curd, nom, nom, nom.

I think I paid 57.9ppl. I know I got it at the previous days prices as he told me the wrong one and honoured the price, which had gone up.

Got up late but went for a 3 mile walk. Now got a blister on the back of my heels. Think my trainers are past it. I have probs with my hooves, can't wear heels as I walk like a transvestite in them and they kill my feet. The merest hint of anything uncomfortable and I get blisters. When I did the moonwalk I spent 8 quid on expensive non blister socks and yes, you guessed it still ended up with the wretched things.
Made 10 lemon drizzles and still got 4 lemons left over for some curd. Must remeber not to eat it!!!! That'll be the difficult part!
Got to take DS1s car to the man what can. He needs anew wing mirror and the track rods probably need some attention. He did warn me not to let go of the steering wheel!
