Morning all sounds good with the decorating etc. Know what you mean about money draining, is it me or is everyone feeling worse off instead of better
Anyway just to let you know the new diary is called "Debt free by 50 something" thought it was more apt.:rotfl: Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18

It's good to have got the listings done, running your own business is hard work, not 9 to 5 at all!
I'm far worse off money-wise too, come to a complete standstill on the debt clearing, minimum payments only. Very demotivating.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
Total debt today: £0 - debt and mortgage free 29th November 2013 :T

Collected the piccis and I'm very pleased with them. They did cost a fortune. Called in at Ikea and quickly realised we wouldn't fit the items in Vanessa. I manged to get the last bits for the bathroom and also collected an extra cup holder for the toothbrushes. Got to the checkout and the chap was trying to make out that I had taken it from the display as it had no barcode on it. I explained that there were lots of them and was getting ready to explode as I hadn't eaten all day and was starving. The children were ready to run for cover. In the end I told him to forget it.
Once outside in the car DS2 told me he had picked the barcode off on his way round the store!!!!!!!!!!!!! So pleased I didn't explode. OH decided emergency action was needed so we went to Pizza Hut.
Ikea again on Sunday. We trundled off in Morris and purchased all furniture, also called in at B&Q to get the skirting board for the bathroom. When we got home I had to take DS1 to get his car from where he'd left it the night before. When I got back OH was in a grump because he was building the furniture and wanted to watch the rugby. He was in such a foul mood DD1 and I built her wardrobe together. She did collapse in a heap at one point as I was building her wardrobe, when I told her I hated screwing up side down!!! Honestly the child has a mind like a sewer.
OH was gradually calming down until he realised he'd only got 1 door for DS2s wardrobe. Great.
I sodding KEA again on the Monday night to get the door and hinges. Went to see the wardrobe lady who pointed out that it did say to get 2 on the sheet and did I not see it? ''Obviously not' I replied through gritted teeth. Anyway all furniture is built and the bathroom is finished. Will have to repaint the window in summer as its so wet the paint wont stay on.
Had to take DD2 to the orthodontist today as she had an appointment and had also broken her brace. Decided to leave early so I could do and Asda shop before her appointment. I told her to keep an eye on the time and as we were going round the shop she was giving me tie checks, 9.15, 9.20. Got to the checkout and she said well that's me late for my appointment. No I said its not till 10, frantically rooting through my handbag looking for my diary. Found it, 9.00 oh !!!!!!!! Had to pick the slowest checkout lady going.
Threw the shopping in the car legged it down the high street (if you hear of a a tremor up North don't panic it was me running) to the dentists. Apologised profusely and had an hour and a half wait. She's sorted for another 10 weeks.
Spent the afternoon doing the accounts and prepping tea. Going to make shepherds pie but make it with a celeriac mash.
Got OH a Valentines card and he shared some chocolate. Who said romance was dead?
Also received a frantic phone call off my sister. My nephew has been rushed into hospital with an appendicitis (sp). He had to wait 7 hours for a bed!!!!! He's under the knife as I type and has had to have open surgery. Sister is off to get him tomorrow as he's at uni.

Sorry to hear about your nephew and wish him a speedy recovery.7 hours for a bed disgusting.
The Ikea/house stuff sounds very stressful0 -
IKEA is designed to be an evil enchanted forest: once in it's impossible to find your way out again without paying for the privilege.
Your poor sister, I hope she and her son weren't too scared. Get well soon to him from me too.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -

Had to purchase 500L of heating oil today and manged to get it for 55.5ppl. feel quite pleased as its on its way up.
Sister and BIL are off to collect nephew. Not sure when he's getting discharged but they have stocked up the fridge before they left! A neccessity for a hollow legged chap.
Nothing planned for the weekend, feel absolutely ker-nackered! Chaps have broken up for half term, I've got 2 days off and OH is having a day the rest of the time they can amuse themselves.

OMG... what a day! Yuck!! and 3 trips to IKEA in as many days...totally carp. I avoid the place like the plague - haven't been there for about 3 years..just send OH in when we are really desperate and since I have tried to be on the MSE waggon that unsurprisingly hasn't happened at all!!!
Good news re oil. Good idea re getting kids to amuse themselves....now pour a large glass of wine..you deserve it:beer:MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
