    Am back!!

Please don't be jealous. My OH has treated me like a Goddess, dragged me into the bodyshop and got some lotions and potions, a Champneys gift set and a new bodywarmer.

Met up with my friend in Millom, lovely to see her but she has gone very fragile. Took her dog for a walk around the marina, which was lovely.

The accommodation was top notch, huge bed, lovely roll top bath, chocolates and a rose waiting for me, fab food (too much of) and wine.

The weather has been so kind, icy but glorious. We had a 2 hour ride on Saturday and I was on a neddy called Sparky, had a little canter and trot. OH was on Duke who was supposed to have a nice little canter but went a bit faster! The owner, a lady called Annie took this ride on her neddy called Prince and rode the ride bareback, very envious of her 'seat'. It did highlight a problem with my right knee and by the end of the ride it was agony.

Took some pills this morning as were going for a 4 hour trek. Again it was icy, so we had to take it steady and didn't manage any cantering. I had Duke and OH had Gypsy, the thinking behind that was Duke had smaller shoulders and would be easier on my knee. Sadly it didn't work but still had a great time.

Home now, chaps pleased to see us. Very icy on the roads, probably be bad in the morning. Annoyingly the man turned up to measure for the tiles this morning, did tell him to phone before he came. I'll have to contact him tomorrow.

What a lovely OH you have! I'm so glad you had a such a good time, it is well deserved.

Still jealous of Duke and Sparky.....Clydesdales have such gentle faces and they're huge too, how big were they?
