Had a very surreal experience yesterday. I was supposed to be going over to a friends to have a spot of alcohol but it went pear shaped. DS2 was away for the evening as he had a footy match this morning whih has been cancelled. It meant the I had to be co-pilot for DS1 driving. I spent the entire journey clutching the hand brake! It was very strange. He did very well. At least he got me home in one piece!
Nothing much planned for the weekend, got to collect DS2 at some point. Paid £60 off the debt yesterday.

lucille when OH taught me to drive she grabbed the wheel as I was overtaking a bus. Needless to say that was the end of "our" lessons together. Good girl for not jamming on the hand brake xxMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

I have been paid and was (note the was) credit card debt free. That was until I went to the station to book our tickets for London. I'm also attempting to book a holiday cottage on the Isle of Skye but struggling for size and availability.
DS1 is doing very well and had a half day back at work yesterday and will be doing the same today. His driving is coming on just needs to knuckle down and study the books for the theory exam.
DD1 is sick of the sight of 3 year olds but still enjoying her work experience.
DS2 has got a footy awards ceremony on Saturday, good job they aren't playing as he's hurt his hoof.
DD2 has got a disco on tonight. As I wasn't home to supervise the outfit (she's not coming home) I did ask her to make sure it covered her knickers! She's got a friend sleeping over tonight. Taking the girls riding tomorrow.

Wow mrs you have been busy. Hope DS is feeling better now and eating proper food again, that must have been a worry. Im with you on the driving front, we sorted out the insurance for DD last week and tax etc etc meant changing policies and all the messing that goes with it. Driving on the lane is fine but in the village I said STOP coming up to the junction and she just very slowly began to stop my nerves were shot! I shouted at her when I say stop I mean stop NOW!!!! Dont know how driving instructors stay so b****y calm, suppose its the dual control thingy. Anyway happy driving. My DS2 is acually better than his older sister and I feel safer but cant tell her that sshhh;) Suppose the sun is out with you :mad:Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Well done on having a credit card clear! even if it was only for a few minutes, that means it is very near the end of it's life :j

Actually when I thunked about it it wasn't strictly true. The card I had cleared was mine that I use in emergencies and not on the snowball. We have got 1 card each left on the snowball. OH had another card that he's been using (from the car escapade) which has a balance on it.
When OHs redundancy comes through, it should clear most of the debt. There will probably be 2k left on one card, however our income will be reduced.
