hi lucille! glad all is ok. I am going to swallow my pride this year and get an accountant to do my self assessment because every year I end up owing literally thousands and it is ripping my DFW mission to shreds.

BT are bloody slow. dont they know you need to be on MSE with us? xx

I hope you have better luck than my parents had. They were without a phone line and broadband for a week, they got reconnected for 2 days and it was of again for 6 hours. Bt wouldn't refund them anything.

    HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    'I'm back' cue evil laughing.

BT finally got it sorted yesterday and I think I'll have a wee chat with them later. Quick update on whats been happening whilst off..................nothing really exciting.

OH had all last week off as our chap who covers the shifts was away, he's managed to get caught up and have a big sort out. Yesterday we finally finished the stock take and I need to type it up. The accountant is coming on Tuesday. OH still hasn't heard from work what the package will be. His shift partner has handed his notice in and finishes on Friday. He's only been with the company for a year, I hope not many of them do that as it could scupper OHs chances of getting a pay off.

My work has been ok, quite busy. Boss has been up a lot so we always get random things thrown at us, my latest mission I've been given is providing a list of what the sites have like:
sceptic tanks, klargesters (had to goole that one) and interceptors (also googled) so basically I am the head of poop. Thanks boss. Anyway as they say, where there's muck theres brass!

I decided to walk OH on Monday night and the dog. As we were coming back my belly gave such a rumble and not in a good way! I thought power walking would be the best option, quite difficult as it happens when you're trying to clamp your butt cheeks together!!! I had to take a short cut across the fields to get home and how I climbed that fence without anything erupting I'll never know! I did make it, phew, and DS2s comment when he came in was along the lines of 'Cor mother you needed that and have you opened the window?' Bless him.

I've been getting loads of headaches for the last 2-3 weeks. I'm sure its just stress related but am getting fed up of them. I was up at 5.30 yesterday as the pain woke me from my slumbering.

Took Ds1 to look at a car last Saturday a little Polo but it nearly a hundred thousand on the clock and just shy of 2k I thought it was a lot. Theres a nice one on ebay so hoping to speak to its owners today as there was no response last night.

Promised a friend I'd try and make her some lemon drizzle cakes for bank holiday Monday as shes doing a refreshment stall, so might make those today and freeze them. We're away overnight next weekend as my middle sister has organised my mums 70th even though its not till June and my oldest sister can't make it. I've managed to arrange it so we can stay with OHs sister.

Right financials, this week I've paid off Santander, probably have a nominal amount of interest next month but as far as I'm concerned its bitten the dust. Still have 4 cards outstanding, HSBC not on snowball and roughly £400, perhaps go up as I'm not sure who's paying for what re mums 70th, OHs Barclaycard roughly 2k due to all the car problems, these have interest being charged and also not on the snowball. Then we each have a virigin card with a balance on and these are at 0% for a while. Plus the overdrafts.

    I think I've waffled enough.
