Morning chaps. Taxi what's the weather going to be like with you as I'm coming to Lancs on Saturday? Sunday hoping to go to Kirby Lonsdale and maybe a walk but not sure what its going to be like.

Got DD2 to take to the orthodontist and DS1 is coming as he needs to get some dosh to repay us for the car. Got my course this afternoon, may not go as I've got other stuff to do but got to get DD2s present. Might see if OH can get it.

Pinot, it's not worth losing the time over.

    Hi Brizz.

Weekend went ok, mum is really losing her marbles, can't remember me visiting her in hospital and thought my oldest DS was her nephew (even though he's in his 40s and DS1 is 17).

Sister seemed to think everything was hunky dory and couldn't understand why I was being so cool with her. She asked for a lift home which was ok a bit of a squeeze with all the bags. However stepdad said he'd drop her off. She cornered OH at the bar and thanked him 'for palming her off on stepdad' he offered for heavens sake. She also asked us if we could go and collect some furniture for her!!!!! We declined. I've since found out she's having job troubles, its the same thing over and over again, agressive nature.

Glad to be home and the dogs are fine. House dog is leaving a trail of sawdust all over, so will be hoovering tomorrow.

The weather is looking potentially nice today, so I'm going to crank up the washing machine and get it all dried.

A busy week looming, DS1 at college on Wednesday, course on Thursday and DS1 at hospital on Friday. If I get back soon enough on Friday I'll try to get into work.

OHs last day is probably going to be 23rd June, 11 weeks pay, something for his leave and not sure if there's something else as well. He's not really talking to me at the mo, so I know he's worried, as am I but trying to put a brave face on it. I need to get 145 hours in at work over 4 and a bit days (I'll be so glad when my course has finished) as that will make life a bit easier.

DS1 may be able to get me some cheap/free wood to re-do the chicken run, then I can get on with planting veggies, once the girls are contained.

Sorry to hear that things are so tough at the moment and I hope you can work your way through the problems.I'm sure you will as you are very resourceful.
Great news on the free/cheap wood.Planting your own veg will certainly help with costs.
Good luck with making the hours up but how on earth you can fit 145 hours in to 4 and a bit days I'll never know.

Sorry Taxi, that's over a 4 week period. Got to be focussed at work this week as need to get my NVQ work done as the assessor is coming on Thursday and I've done sweet FA on it!

Accountant is coming tonight, got a file full of papers to go through with her. Try and get an early night before I take DS1 to college tomorrow.

Cooked a turkey crown last night I got reduced from Bookers, it was lovely and have loads left, so need to think up some recipies for that. Turkey and broccoli bake springs to mind, but its a real faff to make.

Best get on and carry on working.

It's a shame things are tough at the moment, keep going, I'm assured there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Growing your own vegetables, although more work, will be very rewarding and will alleviate some of the stress. I keep thinking about it, but I need to claim my garden back from nature first, the only time I think about it, is when it's raining and I have an excuse not to do it!
