Toothache, it's got to be one of the worst things. Monday? that's a long time to wait if it's painful, can they not fit you in as an emergency?

Its ok I'm over dosing on bonjella!

Took DS2 to footy practice and the took the hound for a walk. Got my course tomorrow and as I've got Morris thought I'd take 2 of the chaps bikes into be mended. My car is back in the garage to be mended to go through the MOT, hopefully.

I've agreed to have the schools guinea pig over the hols, so will have to pick her up on Friday night

Our year ends at the end of March so will have to do a full stock take. OH is still trying to find out whats happening with the shifts and members of his team keep phoning as everyone is worried.

In financial news I've knocked my overdraft down by £50, now stands at £500. I'm going to get it down to £100 and then I've got a bit of a buffer zone.

    Helllooooo everyone.

I've broken up for the holibobs, yippeee! Couldn't come soon enough.

Work has been manic, office manager tearing his hair out. We've been juggling tankers left right and centre and pulling in favours. 2 sites are without fuel for a couple of days but not bad considering we've 18 to look after. The stories some of the site managers are coming out with would make your hair curl, I've got one that made me larf so here goes.

Chap pulls up in his car and pulls out a bucket with a lid and tries to fill it with diesel. Manager talks over the tannoy and tells the chap that he can't use the bucket as its not a proper can. He starts ranting and calls her an effing fat cow. The shop and forecourt are full, she takes a deep breath gets back on the tannoy and says
''I'm not fat, just very fluffy and deeply misunderstood'' People in the shop start clapping and the forecourt drivers are in stitches. He flings the bucket back in the car and zooms off!

It was Ohs birthday on Thursday, he didn't want any fuss but he got a cake and some pressies.

Took the girls riding and en route picked the guinea pig up from school. DS2 stayed at a friends last night and they are taking him to the footy match. Its our year end today so got the shop to stocktake. OH also sold another ride on so we have one left and need to restock.

The car finally passed its MOT, brake pipes cost a bit more than anticipated, just got to tax it in April and touch wood it should keep going a bit longer.

Got DS1 to take for his first driving lesson and its just started raining.

Target card is down to £520, should be gone by the end of April. After thats gone, I'll be targeting our personal cards as they've got a bit out of control. The 2 remaining cards are at 0% so I think that makes sense.

Piq I haven't forgotten and you are top of the first to do list. Thanks for your input so far.

:rotfl:Love the fuel forecourt story, good for her!:rotfl: I, too have fluffy bits!

Well done to OH on the sale, that's good news indeed. And a card about to bite the dust, we will be bringing out the virtual champers!

I've never been on a to-do list before, it doesn't hurt at all. There's no rush and don't forget it was only a first attempt, can do better!

Lucielle..great story. What is it about this country..first sniff of a problem with fuel or bread and they turn into a bunch of rude, desperate idiots! A bucket..I ask you...

Mind you..I am not driving at the moment..so maybe that's why I am so serene! I love the trains and buses when stuff like this is going on!

Like the idea of working at your garden machinery business..could OH go part time for a bit (make it clear its for x months as you dont want to lose valuable ts and cs) at the usual' job and so avoid night shifts etc but keep his hand in. If presented right could be seen as a way of helping out his boss' business too during this difficult time? Anyway just a thought.
