2 things sorted that have been outstanding for a while, chat about website should be live in a couple of weeks. Very grateful for the lady who's buiding this and hope things improve for her. Managed to track the accountant down and have the figures to pay our chap. Bit disappointed with the jam as it only made 3 jars was expecting at least 6. Got another 1lb of plums so need another lb to get the next batch under way. Off to finish the books.

Stunning day weather wise as yesterday was awful. I think a day of gardening is on the cards. OH has fetched the chainsaw home for DS1 to use, which I'm a bit eek about. Got to pick DS2 up from hise friends, my hair is in need of washing, but I think I'll tie it up. Also hoping he fetched the log splitter home and then we can get tidied up a bit. I'll persuade one of the chaps to mow the lawn (lure of a fiver usually helps).

DS1 fancied making a Victoria sponge yesterday but I think the recipie I gave him was a bit crap as it didn't have any marge in. Need to find a better on, but bless him he did all the washing up including my jam making stuff. Best shift my butt.

DS1 is still chomping his way through his cake. Got up this morning and my back told me it wasn't impressed at the amount of work it did yesterday. Only stopped when the log splitter decided it wasn't going to split anymore (needed some more hydraulic oil in). At the time I was most disgruntled as I wanted to get it done, however it was probably for the best as I creaked about the office this morning. Handyman came in and left some plums so I've got enough for another batch, which is bubbling away.

DS1 has decided to go to a college a bit further away and I feel its the best decision as the local one is doing nothing to allay my fears of its crapness, not phoning or providing any info. We have a meeting scheduled for next Monday, which coincides with our wedding anniversary, might even push the boat out and have a pub lunch, just got DS1 along as gooseberry.

DD1 was a brave bunny and caught the bus into the big town, which meant a change of buses. She went to the pictures with her friends. DD2 and DS2 have requested scampi and chips for tea as they are at school tomorrow.

Nearly got the books done, just need a few tweake here and there.
