Good for you L. About time you had something for yourself. (Beats buying school shoes!)
I really need a new rain coat. I'm still wearing one I bought 21 years ago!! And it's not even a proper rain coat. Where did you find yours? I've been watching out for ones I like and would suit.

We have a shop called Otterburn Mill and it had blue cross sale on. I usually bob in to look at the kids clothing and try and pick things up for Christmas. Do have another confession to make, their was a cheaper one, that was a bit tight across the old chesticles but would've been ok and it was £25.

Just made a lovely fish pie, even if I do say so myself and I managed not to get any bones. In fact there was enough fish, so I made 2 and one has gone int freezer. I feel like I've spent all day in the kitchen as DS2 and I made twinks' and I've been cooking breadcrumbs in oil and butter ready for when I make chicken and broccoli bake, trouble is you have to cook them really slowly and it takes forever.

OH is very chuffed as he sold a chainsaw and safety stuff today, plus he's got machinery that's been repaired to do back.

I've been a busy bunny this morning. Took Ds1 to work as his bike still has a puncture but that sthe last day as he's under orders to 'Get it Sorted'. Came home took the hound for a quick stroll, cleaned 2 bathrooms, hoovered and dusted, 2 loads of washing on the line and third ready to go out. Of course this had nothing to do with the fact that a chap was coming to look at the sound system on th TV no sirrreeee. He's been, hoping to rig up some sort of switch so the dvd player will play and he looked at the set top box in our room which has died. Will live without that for now.

Got to go and pick up DD2s friend in a mo and nip into the CO-op. I'm going to have to raid the £2 coin stash as we ae skint.

Went to York yesterday, typically the Tesco tickets hadn't arrived so ended up spending extra to book the Jorvik. Train was delayed for an hour due to flooding and signalling problems. We also queued to go into the York dungeons, which was fun. Managed to sneak a Christmas pressie into the stash, whilst friend took them out the way. Shattered last night.

Opening up yhr workshop today, whilst OH takes Morris to get some decals put on him. DD1 has an eye test this afternoon and its probably time to purchase school shoes.

Feeling very emotional at the moment and quite fragile, which isn't like me at all. Off to open the workshop in a bit.
