Ladies and Gentlemen.....sit down get yerselves comfy, ready for the 'great' (not that great) new sig.:j

As of today we have paid £20093.47 :j:j:j off the debt. The total now stands at £39782.36:eek::eek: with £2820:eek::eek: on overdrafts.

When I look back to this time last year cowering in the CAB office to be told that bankruptcy might be the only way forwards, I think we have done pretty well. I also had a proper job and I have managed to keep the horses. OH has been supportive and works massive amounts of hours. Think that's the end of the Oscar speech! Have a good day everybody I'm off out for a girlie lunch.

HOORAY !!!! WELL DONE YOU !!!!

Paying off 20k is brilliant! Is the overdraft part of the £39,782 or on top of it?

Hope you have a very happy birthday and here's to the next year.

Seaxwyn the debt and the overdraft are separate. The overdraft I am just chipping away at.

Beckseven, we won't clear as much next year as we cashed in some bonds in January otherwise we really were going to struggle.

I still find budgeting hardwork and just have to fit food shopping in when I think OH is going to get a good wage. In an ideal world money would be put aside each week. OHs wages are never the same which also makes life more interesting.

Had a lovely meal out with the girls and they paid! OH got me some new steering equipment for the horse (reins). I find it useful to be able to control the beast! I also got some lovely new Pjs from M&S which I am wearing at the moment.
