Been for a look at potential house to rent. It would be good but the tenancy period is not as long as we would hope. So for now we are staying put.
Just put in an asda order due to be delivered on Thursday evening. Got cubs and scouts tonight and OH is on nights, so best get myself sorted. Last months groceries came in under budget spent £289.57 of £336, so feel quite chuffed about that. This months will probably be over due to the festive period.

Sorry to hear about the house rental L. Clearly it wasn't to be.
well done with the food budget. I've never quite managed to come in under budget which is why I've upped my budget name to see if that helps!
Have you updated your debt figures yet.....I'm waiting to see what they come down to from your June figures?
I don't envy you the cub/scout run tonight. Mine are all at the end of the week so I've got that little joy to look forward too..all good fun :rolleyes:Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
The 11th is the day of the signature unveiling........drum roll for then (also my birthday so any virtual cakes and biccis welcome.) Not sure which figures to quote as the snowball shows a smaller amount than my paper ones. I think I will probably go with the paper ones then if the snowball is right it will be a nice suprise.

Got lots of snow the and the children have been off school. Lots of snowball fights and they are out sledging at the moment. OH managed to get home at 6.30am and he is just off now for his night shift. Been a definite NSD today as I haven't been anywhere. Should've had the farrier in today but I think its been cancelled and now probably won't be able to get them done until next year.

Paid £96.36 off a card today. For the signature unveiling on the 11th I have decided to go with the snowball as I think this is the most accurate. Been and done a few hours today working tomorrow night and Sunday. Should be a busy month this month but need to get as many hours in as I can because January will be quiet.

It sounds as though things are moving in the right direction! I look forward to that signature unveiling - I suspect it will be rather good!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ok todays drama is Asda. I did an on line order to be delivered on Thursday. Well the weather was awful so I didn't expect them to come. I got a phone call off the driver to say they would deliver on Friday at 6.30pm. During the day we got different phone calls saying different things. The last phone call said it would be late, probably after 10. Was this ok? It was. I waited up until 12. Just phoned customer services and spoke to a supervisor who has contacted the store. The store has just phoned to say the driver tried to deliver but no answer and he had posted something through the door. Checked and nothing there. The up shot is they are going to deliver today between 10 and 12. However my dilema is, My DD1 is going to a party and her friend wants me to bake her a birthday cake as a present. Most of the ingredients are on the Asda order. She is not going until this afternoon. DS2 is also going to a party I have to drop off at 10.30. Do I buy what I need then or trust Asda? Any thoughts appreciated.
L
PS they are going to give me a £10 e voucher for my inconvenience.
