cake baking - waaaay above my head this early in the morning :o

I think Asda have showed that you can't rely on them totally, so don't rely on them this morning.

Although you know la loi de murphy - if you go and buy ingredients, then the order will turn up on time, if you trust them then it won't!

    Good luck x

Typical bought the stuff I needed and you guessed it Asda had delivered. Cake is now baking and needs to be decorated for 4.00, I just hope it cools quickly.

Managed to get it iced and most of it has been eaten.

Had a truly awful night at work last night. I was wishing I had my mobile in my pocket so OH could ring me and get me to come home. I was supposed to be in today but after last night I have done something I'm not proud of and just not gone it. I didn't phone and they haven't contacted me, which I think speaks volumes in itself. Not sure what to do at the moment as I am supposed to be working next weekend. The way I feel at this moment is sell the horses (it would break my heart but would get through it) and say B@@@@@@s to the lot of them, which is mainly what I use my wages for.

A friend has got us a 3 piece suite as a present. Have spent most of the afternoon fighting with the brute to get it in the house. Its ok maybe not something I would pick but loads better than the one we had.

Oh lucielle, that sounds so pants........I hope you can resolve your issues in a way that suits you and move forward fairly quickly.

And yay to the suite - ok, so it might not be what you would have chosen, but if it is better than you had before, that has to be a good thing!

In hospitality, not good having meals sent back, waiting for ages between courses etc. Plus not my business and sent out to deal with all the flak, whilst owners cowered in the kitchen.

That sounds really pants lucielle, and not fair that you should have to deal with the angry customers. Poor you.
