I really don't think the trip is going to happen, far to much to do. We've got the accountant coming tonight, so yesterday was spent sorting out the year end paperwork and fighting with excel. DS2 had a friend sleepover so he was a happy chap, DD2 was away and picked her up later, DD1 went down to her friends and DS1 was working. DS1 is coming home happy but shattered he was in bed for 8.30 last night! He's had to bike this morning as the car needs feeding.

Plans for today are to pack a picnic. A friend and her 2 are coming over so we are all off up the valley to splash in the river and I've got a book that requires my attention. Come home and finish off the last bit for the accountant.

DD1 has been paid the final bit she was owed, so she's reserved her swanky new phone and sent dad to collect it. She's a very happy bunny.

DD1 is the happiest, bounciest, hoppiest, bunny EVER!!!! She has a swanky new phone and its her precious one! Had a lovely day yesterday, just chillin' by the river and the chaps dam building and picnicing.

Accountant came early, which I think shouldn't be allowed as I wasn't quite ready! Sent away with a big box of files, that was the easy bit, its all the questions that'll be coming our way over the next few weeks.

Today DS1 is off work as we've got the dentist. I'm getting my eyebrows waxed with a voucher from Christmas and DS1 has got an appointment at the bank. Possibly a trip to the beach after all that.

Had to have a filling redone yesterday which they tried to do without pain relief! That was until they had to scrape me off the ceiling, all good now though.

Stupid call centre banks, phoned up India to make an appointment for Barclays, everything ok. Had a sneaking suspicion it wasn't ok so called into the bank as my alleged appointment was at 1.00 and it was only 11.30 and would've had to hang around. Nope no appointment booked just a piece of paper asking them to phone me. Why? I wanted to change my sons bank account which I presumed he'd have to sign bits of paper or is this being done through osmosis? Grrr, chap behind the counter said I was the second one and he was going to put a complaint in.

Went to the beach and it was ruddy freezing as there was a sea fret. It looked very atmospheric with the mist rolling in. Mind you DD1s active imagination was in overdrive as she's just finished reading James Herberts the Fog.

All I wanted to do last night was have a hot bath and curl up in my pjs with a couple of beers. Bath was cold and the boiler has decided that the night before a long weekend was the ideal time to die. No hot bath. Just opened a beer when my friend called to say she'd broken down and could I rescue her? Gave the beer to OH. Did manage the pjs and then collapsed into bed.

Had to play hunt the keys this morning as OH had nicked mine because he couldn't find his. Still manged to get DS1 to his job on time. He did say last night that he'd enjoyed his day with us, even though it wasn't that exciting, Lidl, secondhand bookshop, eyebrow wax (which I can raise in a quizzical arch!) freezing yer wotsits off at the beach and then purchased the Easter eggs.

DD2 was supposed to be having a friend to play but her mum phoned last night as something had come up. No doubt she's going to be a pain in the butt today. Have left a message for the plumbers in the hope they remember there are 6 of us and they'll take pity on us and come and revive the boiler.

Have got a few seeds to plant so will probably crack on with that and I think the hoover needs a run as it looks sad its not been used for ages. Cor, I do waffle on a bit.

Money news, paid £155 off the debt as OH has been paid for 2 weeks. I hate it when they do this as I always run out. I get paid on Wednesday, yippee.

Load of washing on the line, my room and living room dusted and everywhere has been hoovered. A friend has phoned and invited us over to her for the afternoon, looking forward to that, except she wants to play tennis!!!! Am really not built for tennis, will give it a whirl and I'm going to take the badminton rackets.

That has really cheered everybody up. Off to make a cheesecake.

Have decided not to go down sarf! Lots to do at the workshop and time best spent there. DD2 is going into town with a frined and her mum, DD1 doesn't want to go. Ds1 is off ferreting with a friend when he turns up. DS2 will be landing back with his friend. After dropping DS1 and friend off will head over to workshop to measure up for worktop to give to OH who forgot to measure it!

Might get around to sowing some carrotts and caulis and maybe some salad leaves but I want to move my planter and need OHs help as its a very heavy old sink. If I move it across the yard it will get more sun.
