    You could defrost the freezer too. Just chuck everything in the garden for the day and bung it back in when you're done.

    Incidentally am I the only one scientifically investigating the melting speed of icicles in vodka? Am finding that the bigger the icicle the longer it takes to melt although increasing the amount of vodka speeds this up marginally. Am planning to repeat this experiment tonight to see if the speed of melt is faster when using Tia Maria.

    Could do with something alcoholic to drown my sorrows. Not only have I cleaned the fridge, I've scrubbed the cutlery drawer and attacked the girls clothes and made them sort them out. I'll make them wish for school.

    Just cooked veal in marsala, t'was very nice. Its amazing what you find in the depths of the freezer. Probably sausage and apple pie tomorrow if I'm off. Going to attempt to get in tomorrow.
