Had to get up to make sure OH could get off the drive. Had more snow overnight. I'm supposed to be helping out at my other job today. My car is facing the wrong way and not really sure I want to venture out on the roads, even though the money would be handy.

Managed to get the car turned round but decided its just not worth it, so not going. Bottomed the DS's room yesterday may pluck up courage and do the girls. Promised I'd make them drop scones for helping dig out the car.

Beanie, I do quite like Jilly Cooper, reading a Tess Gerritson at the mo, tis ok. Passes a scone over with lemon curd on.

Red, no major snowfalls at the mo.

Turfy, I hope things get going before Wednesday but not hopeful.

Right off sledging in my joggers so no more split jeans. Thank the Lord for elasticated waist bands.

Had a massive avalanche/roof fall of snow during the night which had brought it level with our windows. OH hasn't managed to get to work and had to abandon the van on the lane only to be told to move it by the grumpy gamekeeper. Had to get him to help move it. Still wish we'd got a 4x4.

All schools are shut and work have been great about the time off. I'm going to make it snow again by cleaning my oven. I've daubed it in the Lakeland cleaner, alll the shelves and glass in the bath soaking in a washing powder solution.

Cancelled DS2s orthodontist appointment and made it for the beginning of the Christmas hols which is better as he doesn'y miss anymore school. I roasted some veggies last night whilst the chicken was in so can have that for dinner. Really fancy mince and dumplings for tea.
