OH tried to get me into work, but we turned back. Phoned work and they said don't even try, so they are being great. Managed to stop off at the co-op, honestly it was like the Maire Celeste, empty shelves. No fruit and veg no milk very little in the deli part. Just as I was paying the bread delivery arrived, so managed to bag 4 loaves of bread. Picked up some UHT goats milk so I've decided to make some lasagnes for the freezers. OH is debating whether to go to work, I'll let him decide. Thinks he might make it but not get home. I've given him the phone number of our ex-next door neighbour, who lives in the town and has offered him a bed if needed. After last New Year when he was left to sleep in the van I feel a bit better about him going in.

Have tried to book and Asda order but all the slots are booked until 20th. Thinking it might be just as well biting the bullet and going ourselves. Saved money on petrol and school dinners, but if OH doesn't get in the wages are going to pretty meagre and so are mine.

snow here too - all at home - can't decide if its good or bad..............although saved petrol I guess but spending more on heating - lol

I've made 2 lasagnas for the freezer. Had the most yummy mince, dumplings, mash and HM mushy peas for tea, followed by saucy lemon sponge. Am stuffed, good job fat class was cancelled. OH has manfully decided to try and get into work tonight. According to his colleagues the main routes are ok, its just getting to them.

The 2 youngests school is closed tomorrow and much to the big 2s disgust theirs is open. Whether the bus driver turns up remains to be seen. Will also see if OH manages to make it home in the morning.
