That's the consoling thought that each month we haven't purchased we are that bit closer to being debt free. I'm hoping that next December we might be there.

Who knows? It could be just around the corner, (time wise) and there'll be a flurry of activity to get you in soon. If not, as you say, you're making rapid progress towards debt freeness.

Paid £100 off the card yesterday. Today has been busy helping a friend move house. We've had 2 cars and a trailer on the go. However the base of a table which was being transported on the front seat of my car has cracked the windscreen so will have to get that sorted this week as its getting bigger. Could really do without it but worse things happen, friend has offered to pay the excess.

OH has managed to mend the tumble dryer, yay! Now the dishwasher is on the blink! Had a chat with the people who are taking DD1 away next Saturday everything is in order and also gave them a contribution for taking her. Have got her a hundred pounds worth of Turkish Lira to take with her. I have my friend coming for lunch tomorrow, she's going to teach the girls to knit. She's my surrogate mum and now acting as proxy grandma. Going to do the usual roast chuck and probably a crumble, she also goes to fat class with me. Speaking of which not really got to grips with it this week its like my gobs been on overdrive. Not had a bad day..........a really bad week. I desparately need to get back on track and stop sabotaging myself.

I have been given a smaller size of jeans (still mahoosive but small to me) I can get them on and the button done up (not the zip) but if that button flew off there would be serious damage! My chest has been hurting today from all the coughing, sure a lung or 2 are trying to make a bid for freedom!

Wow you've been busy! Bad luck about the windscreen and dishwasher! Everything seems to happen at once doesn't it!

No wonder you've been hungry all this furniture you've been moving! You also probably need the extra food to fight the illness you've had too so don't feel too bad. Once you are better you can start again and be wearing those jeans before you know it!

    Best wishes,

Slept really well last night due to Night Nurse and feeling shattered. Need to get the house straight ad warm before frined arrives and then I can get on with dinner. Have a large pile of ironing hoping DD1 is going to do that for me and hoping one of the boys will attack the garden if we can get a lawnmower started.

My cough is now into its 4th week, but it IS definitely getting better, and I hope yours does very soon as I know how draining and frustrating it can be!

As others have said, listen to your body, and slow down a little - easier said than done, I know, but needs must and all that.

(and yes, I know it is a case of the pot calling the kettle black!)

Lucielle I am still coughing and spultering too, actually given myself a headache.

And as for fat club, my jaws can't stop and I need to get them too - else I am paying for nothing!! Need to get back in control of it.
