Glad you enjoyed London but sorry about the house offer, but his loss as you say something better will turn up soon. Know what you mean about sleeping in your own bed so lovely when youve been away.

Quite knackered today, to put it bluntly. OH is on nights and was in baby elephant mode when he came in so woke me up. Then promptly fell asleep and kept me awake snoring!!!! His last one tonight. I've spent ages and pounds inputting an Asda order, which came to £195 including delivery. I've been very good and put the money away every week so its covered and I've got £40 left in the kitty for veggies, fruit and milk.

OH had to get 2 new tyres for his car which came in at £94, also covered in the car budget. He's been pricing up snow tyres which will be £45 x 4. Hoped we'd get away with only putting 2 on but it seems they need 4. In theory it means the normal tyres should last longer as well.

Its payday next week, so looking forward to trying out the new of paying the debt. Won't see great inroads this month as personal cards need to be cleared first. Off for a slob in the bath with Memory Girls book.

  • well done on the shopping - have you tried taste radar as well - I've just joined -what I understand about it is you can spend upto £25 a month on fruit and veg - then input online rating taste etc - and send them the receipts/labels for the cost upto £25 a month and they pay you via paypal.

Apols if you've heard it before - or aren't interested - a few others metioned doing it on my diary - I think it will def help me with my monthly spends if I can manage to do it - my house are fruit and veg monsters........................................

    I'll find the link.................

My DH is also a baby elephant when he either comes to bed late or on the very odd occasion he has to be up earlier than moi. Snoring well I think they are all the same drives me nuts!

Well done on the shopping and the car budget all going well. :j

And breathe. Where do I start???? The other night DD1 accidentally broke my new jug that I adored. I'm not usually precious about stuff but that ticked all the boxes. She was very apologetic. I've spent about 3 hours doing the paperwork ready for the VAT return and inputting the details. DS1 went and switched the compressor on and the electrics tripped. Lost the bloody lot. Decided to get my tea and OH broke 1 of the only matching set of glasses we own. Tried to post on here and also lost that.

    Feeling better.

Came home from work and took the mutt for a walk with OH. OH cooked dinner for him and the chaps using a duck that DS1 had shot. Can't stand the smell of duck ever since I cooked it whilst preggers. I had a ww meal and I've also got a ww pud defrosting as boy do I need it.

Waiting for Asda to appear and also my will to live. Off to Memory Girls thread to see whats going on.
