Brent cross was surprisingly ok. I felt like a complete frump. Got the ds' some new tops. Still needed to get DD2 some tights which M&S sorted out. Had a mooch around John Lewis pretending we could afford anything which was fun. Had lunch in Pizza Hut and 3 of the chaps got to eat free so very MSE.

Today I've been scrubbing sis house as she is back later. I've made a lasagne ready for tea tonight but sis and BIL are going to a party, so we'll catch up tomorrow. Just been into the town and got DD1s sandal mended as the buckle had broken and she needs them for Turkey. Had the chaps tidying up round the pool (yes they have a pool) and putting all the floats away. Just finished some ironing and put 2 loads to dry. Who said I didn't know how to have a holiday.

Got back home last night to find 47 items had sold on ebay so it was fun, fun, fun parcelling that lot up. Even more fun posting it all today. Had also got lots of stroppy emails asking where their items were, even though we had put a note on them all to say we were away.

Glad to be back sleeping in my own bed, slept like a log last night. A big shock when the alarm went off at 6.30 and even bigger shock for the chaps when I dragged them out of bed. I've been helping DS1 complete forms for college, feel as if I'm banging my head against a brick wall.

Had our final offer on the house refused. His loss, we'll keep looking. Destined for better things. Came home to find Memory Girls book. Will start reading that tonight as OH is on nights.

Didn't go to weigh in last night due to being tired and having all the parceling to do, I think I've out on 1.5lbs and have input that onto the website. Going to try really hard this week. In fact DD2 is making me a salad for lunch tomorrow. DD1 had her first day at high school, seems to have gone ok.

Glad you had a good holiday.

The Universe has decided that the house is not for you, I'm sure something better will come along, probably when you least expect it.

I've been looking at DD's 6th form timetable, she's hardly there!
