sounds like a cunning plan Lucille. You could always try it and see how it works. Maybe make the 'normal' payment and wait till the end of the month to send the rest of your wages, so you know you've got enough to cover the profile of your DD's and SO's

Oh L I'm sorry if I sounded judgemental. I think i'm at the age with a grown up, well 21 yr old, daughter and am seeing things from the other side of the fence.

And what you describe DOES sound very "challenging" for you!!! In which case your having her to visit for such a long period is positively saintly. Hope you manage to cope with the rest of the visit.

Sounds like a great plan Lucielle and good luck with the house.
I can see why you think your Mum is hard work it must be so hard to see her like that.

Thanks for the replies, no V you didn't come across that way. It's hard explaining to people how it is. She left on Saturday morning and told me that she had had an excellent time. I had her for 3 weeks last year and it was a nightmare, she kept putting her medication down the drain and not wearing her incontinence pads....truly awful.

LT, if I leave the money there it will get spent but I know where you're coming from. Not got much planned for today. Got the weigh in tonight.

Glad the visit went well then. Any more news on the house? I can't remember if you used to own a house before you rented where you are now?

I've sorted out DD2s drawers and managed to get rid of 2 bin bags full. How long they stay tidy for.....not long. Book I've ordered has finally arrived, recommended from Memorygirls thread. Will probably start that tonight, OH seems keen on reading it as well.

2 loads of washing on the line, 1 waiting to go out when there's room.

Can I ask what the book is - just wondering if it is to do with money saving? If not, please ignore! Glad your Mums visit went well!

Hello Jo, its sort of money saving, in that you ask the universe to help you get what you want (I think) any way its called 'The Secret' and its by Rhonda Byrne.

Just done the Asda order which has come in at £150. Should last til we go on our holibobs.
