Think I have survived the weekend. DD2s sleepover didn't quite go to plan as they only stayed over 1 night. It actually meant that I could take her shopping that was part of her birthday present. The only downside to this was that I hadn't saved any money up and some of it has had to go onto a credit card. However I do have a cunning plan, I'm working next weekend and the money from that should cover the spends, any future earnings from this source will be going to pay for DS' ski trip.

OH enjoyed the rugby so much so that I had to retrieve him from the pub which was also an incentive to go shopping today. Spent £60 in Asda on not very much and managed to snaffle some bubble wrap so I can use it for ebay.

I did treat myself to some green nail varnish (only wear it on my toes) and I saw a lush water jug in Barker & Stonehouse the other week when I had to take DS1 to the Dental hospital so got that as well, which was £14.99 and will be perfect for pimms! Only forgot to buy some lemonade whilst I was in Asda. I really splashed out on a new peg basket as well!!!

    Hi lucielle,

Shopping doesn't sound too disastrous! Can't imagine my late cat going for cake either! Perhaps tt's the lure of the forbidden?

Does your dd know which school she'll be going to yet?

Hello V, how are you? Yes DD1 has decided to go for the local school. I think she got overwhelmed by it all and the thought of the journey has helped to make her mind up. Part of me was disappointed but the other was relieved at the same time, if that makes sense.

Just pigged out on a takeaway and it was delish. Hoping to bag the bath next and go for a walloe. DD1 has painted my toe nails.

Just had a real scare. On the way home from work I went to do the horse and found him in a very distressed and agitated state. i thought he was going to come over the fence and I think if he was younger he would've done. I saw 2 dogs in a neighbouring field and I think they had upset him but I wanted a second opinion so phoned OH.

He was on his way home and had a look and thought he'd been posioned. Rushed home and got the vet amongst getting children from extra maths class. Vet has been and given him an injection to calm him down ashe thinks he has had a major panic attack for want of a better way of putting it.

I'm going to check on him in a couple of hours, but he had calmed a bit as the drugs took effect.

Terrible. And he can't tell you what the trouble is. Hope he's better tomorrow.

I'm very well thanks L. Yourself?

Glad the school situation is settled. It's quite unnerving if the uncertainty goes on for long I think. And with this decision you won't have school fees to find.

Definately think it was the dogs that scared him as I was down last night and they were with the shepherd. He was spooked by them which isn't like him. He is also lame after all the shenanigans. Nothing too serious just a swollen fetlock which will go down he needs some R&R.

On a roll this morning, got the kitchen floor mopped, 2 loads of washing on the line and a third one in the machine. Helping a friend out this afternoon so a bit of dosh there.

Tis a glorious day here. Had DS1 rotavating the veggie beds last night and I mowed the lawns. Usually pay the kids to do it but I got off my backside and got it done. Need to persuade one of them to strim. Had quite a hard frost last night.

OH will have a charge on his account as I forgot about a DD coming out. I'll try and get him to phone and get the charges back. I had overpaid A/E by £9 so OH phoned them to get the cash back and see if they had any offers. They didn't so he cancelled the card. Another one dead.
